HPCNEF

In 1982, the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida (HPCNEF) became one of 11 Local Health Councils mandated by Florida State Statute 408.033 to dedicate resources and expertise to regional health utilization data management, health planning and research, community organizing, health promotion, and awareness programs. We take the lead from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) Healthy People Initiative... We are the local health council that represents Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties... We believe that health connects all populations and their communities, and we strive to protect and improve health outcomes of all people.
