Alexandra Galanski

Education: The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Galanski joined our team in 2014. She grew up in Westchester, NY, and now resides in Stamford. After completing undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in 2009, Dr. Galanski went on to earn a DVM degree from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and internal medicine. At home, Dr. Galanski has two children, Henry and Charlotte, and two fur-kids, Tucker the dog and Padfoot the cat. She and her husband spend their free time hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants in and around Stamford.

Education: North Carolina State University Dr. Shattuck was born in Texas and grew up in Connecticut. She attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia and went to veterinary school in North Carolina, graduating with a DVM in 1993. She has lived and practiced in both North Carolina and Texas. When her family relocated back to Connecticut in 2000, she began working at High Ridge and has been here ever since. In fact, the High Ridge team is her second family! Dr. Shattuck loves practicing preventative medicine and taking the time to educate her clients about how to give their fur-kids their absolute best lives. She is especially interested in feline medicine, animal behavior, internal medicine, pain management, and fear-free practice. After practicing for more than 25 years, she still loves her work and she adores all her patients like they are her own. At home, she has a husband, two children, two dogs, a cat, and a betta fish. When not at work, she can be found hiking with her dogs, cooking, reading, or doing volunteer work in the Stamford community.

Dr. Brian Standish-Parkin

Education: Fairfield University, St. Matthew's University Dr. Brian Standish-Parkin grew up in Bronx, NY, and currently resides in Yonkers, NY. He received an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and earned his DVM degree from St. Matthew's University. His special interests include cardiology and surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Standish-Parkin enjoys running, hiking, movies, and music. He also has a Pitbull mix and two red-eared sliders.

Dr. Sarah Murphy

Education: Manhattan College, Mercy College, University College Dublin Dr. Sarah Murphy grew up in and currently resides in Yonkers. She received an undergraduate degree from Manhattan College and Mercy College and earned her DVM degree from University College Dublin. Her special interests include internal and preventative medicine, exotics, diagnostic imaging, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology. Outside of work, Dr. Murphy enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has two rescue dogs named Gizmo and Ollie.
