Over the years, HSV built an array of modified vehicles, most of which were based on Holden models powered by either Holden or GM sourced V8 engines. For 30 years HSV mastered a very specific vehicle fit for Australian tastes and purposes: the V8, four-door performance sedan that people aspired to own... HSV has produced over 85,000 cars since unveiling the first 'Walkinshaw' at the Sydney Motor Show in 1987.
