HURRICANE FLEET

The Hurricane Fleet was one of the very first fishing fleets in North or South Carolina. In the 1940's, Frank and Mary Juel, the original owners of the Hurricane Restaurant decided they needed a fishing boat to serve the restaurant customers. So, Frank traveled north and brought back an 81 foot Navy PT boat to serve as one of the first charter vessel... The Hurricane Fleet has a long history of taking out church groups, reunions, fraternities, and groups we'd never heard of before. Group activities include fishing trips, cruises, company parties, and fraternity events. We can help anticipate any issues, or accommodate special requests.
