Antoinette Camphor

Antoinette worked at Central Steel and Wire Company in 2008. She decided to leave and begin a new journey by going to Coyne American institute to earn her certificate as a Medical Assistant in September in 2008. Antoinette came to Mitchell Foot and Ankle as part of her externship and because of her passion to help others and her desire to learn, she accepted a full-time position with Mitchell Foot and Ankle in September of 2009. Along with her many duties as a medical assistant, Antoinette grew into her second position as a surgical circulator and continues to aspire to gain more experience and knowledge in her career.

Cheryl Kimbrough

  • Assistant Office Manager
Cheryl has always loved working with people. Her charismatic personality led her to employment in the retail and customer service industries. Her compassion for people sparked her interest in the health administration field. Cheryl made the decision to go back to school and further pursued a certificate as a Medical Assistant from Westwood College in 2005. Shortly after, she acquired a position with Mitchell Foot and Ankle in April of 2006. Through hard work and dedication, Cheryl is now the Assistant Office Manager and continues to welcome all the new and existing patients she encounters.

Dr. Jeremy Cowan

Dr. Jeremy Cowan, DPM was born and raised in Chicago. He received a degree in Psychology and pre-med at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, going on to get his medical education from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Chicago. Dr. Cowan completed his residency at one of Chicago's most respected training facilities, Cook County Hospital. Dr. Cowan then began to work in private practice in the Chatham neighborhood and has been caring for patients on Chicago's South Side for 20 years. Dr. Cowan is able to treat a wide range of conditions, affecting the foot and ankle, with a special focus on caring for the special concerns of the feet in patients with diabetes and the elderly. Dr. Cowan speaks Spanish fluently. Dr. Jeremy Cowan, DPM nació y creció en Chicago. Laurie Haddad

Laurie started her career in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant in 1986. With her natural ability as a caregiver and the desire to learn, Laurie worked in Geriatrics, Intensive Care and Hospice for more than seven years. Over the next 25 years, Laurie's life led her into areas of management and customer service in various fields, from the retail industry to entrepreneurship as a general contractor. Laurie decided to go back to school in 2011 to combine her knowledge in management and her passion in the healthcare field. She attended Joliet Junior College in the Health Information Management Program. While attending school she found a part-time job as a medical assistant for a local Podiatrist. Within two years Laurie had become intrigued with the podiatry field. Originally from the Hyde Park area and being in tune with the diversity and culture of the community, Laurie found her way back home and accepted a position at Mitchell Foot and Ankle as Dr. Mitchell's Office Manager and Surgical Scrub Technician in July of 2014.
