Jennifer Verdam BA, CGA-CPA, is currently the Director of Finance, Accounting for Spinrite in Listowel.
Jennifer moved to Goderich in early 2015 to take a job as controller at the Compass Minerals Goderich Mine. She worked at Compass for almost nine years, as Controller, Senior Procurement Manager, Director of Procurement, Canada, finishing as Director of Finance, Canada Operations. Prior to working at Compass Minerals, she was a controller and accounting manager for thirteen years in Aerospace, General Industry, and Automotive manufacturing plants.
In addition to serving as the past Chair and Past Chair of the Chamber and past Treasurer on the Huron Chamber Board, Jennifer is the past Treasurer of the Huron Women's Shelter, Second Stage Housing, and Counselling Services Board, past Secretary and current Treasurer of the Unit 249 American Contract Bridge League Board, Administrator of the ACBL District 2 Board, and is a former member of the Goderich Economic Development Committee.
In her spare time, she plays competitive Duplicate Bridge (she is a ruby life master), reads, cooks, hangs out with her family, and drinks wine, not necessarily in that order.

Jodi has worked and lived in and around Wingham for the past 15 years and enjoys supporting the community and local businesses. Through her work she enjoys welcoming new residents to the community and sharing with them the great opportunities Huron County has to offer.

Marianne Novotna is the co-owner of River Run Restaurant.
I live in Seaforth Ontario, and moved to the area about 17 years ago, when my wife and I married.
I started my time with the Chamber very recently at the start of 2024. I work at Huron Commodities in Clinton, as a Merchandiser, and my wife and I live and work on our Farm in Seaforth. We have sheep as livestock, selling Farm to Table lamb, and we also have a four-acre Hazelnut orchard that is just starting to bear fruit. I bring an element of the Agricultural community to the board, which is likely the biggest economic presence in Huron County. My daily interactions with large growers in the area and end users around the world, as well as my experience on a small farm focusing on niche markets, has offered me an interesting perspective in this field.
I decided to join the board because I am interested in supporting local businesses and I am eager to give back to the community that my Family and I live in. This community is full of salt of the Earth folks that would give the shirt off their back to help a neighbor. I may not have been raised here, but my sense of belonging is strong, and that is a result of a great community.
Elite fitness professional, trainer, speaker, author, and business owner Nadine VandenHeuvel is the owner of fitness facilities and is nearing 12 years' experience in the Health and Fitness industry and over 9 years of experience being a Lady Boss. She's trained thousands of people and mentored dozens of trainers throughout her years of owning her fitness facilities. She has helped over 150 people lose 25 lbs, 100 people lose 50 lbs, 5 people lose 75 pounds and 1 person lose 150 lbs. A business that began in a grass field back in 2008 laid out the groundwork for an ever-evolving business empire.
Nadine has been passionate since then to change the way that fitness was viewed and being done in her local community and beyond, since that day. In 2014, she earned the "˜Inspiring Young Woman in Huron' award. In 2016 she earned the title, "Personal Trainer of the Year" by CanFitPro. Nadine has received many other nominations over the years for Young Entrepreneur and Business of the Year. She currently employs 14 rockstar team members known as her "˜Dream Team' who serve over 500 members since opening her doors in January 2011.
My name is Ralph Rubino. If I can have an impact on connecting people and bringing people together, it fills my cup. I believe in helping where I can and have found what I love to do in assisting families with their financial wellness and ensuring they are properly protected. I own and operate the Goderich office of Tri City Financial Group.
I have lived in Goderich since I was three years old. Spending over 30 years and growing up in the community has given me the opportunity to see a lot of changes over the years and the difference of our community in comparison to a city setting where my family all currently live.

Sierra is a junior accountant at Takalo & Burt, who is currently pursuing her CPA designation.
She recently returned to this area after spending five years at school in the U.S. playing Division I NCAA hockey. She has always called Huron County home, and would like to be involved in the business community and serve the Chamber's members. She enjoys reading, golfing, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
Tabatha is Community Manager of Libro Credit Union Goderich Branch location.
She has lived in Goderich since she was born! She is passionate about being involved in the community and is involved with Victim Services, and United Way on top of being the Chair of the Chamber. She is also an Each One Teach One facilitator, providing financial education to groups and organizations to inspire financial happiness.
In Tabatha's spare time she enjoys visiting with friends, hanging with the family, shopping and taking in the summers in Goderich!
