I-MAPS

I-Maps is a software application for portfolio positioning which includes portfolio modeling and portfolio risk... The idea for I-Maps first came to Dr Reg Bust in 1992 who was working in the asset management industry in Cape Town, South Africa. He founded the company now known as Visual Portfolio Maps CC in 1996. The first version of I-Maps took 18 months to produce. Distributing I-Maps in South Africa was done with Alison Kohler from 1997. The first two clients were Old Mutual Investment Group South Africa and Allan Gray Ltd. They are still clients.
