ICASC

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is the 193 member State organization headquartered in Montreal, Canada. ICAO develops the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARP's) for aviation navigation and landing facilities, as well as guidance material for flight inspection of those facilities. This charter was originally developed as a result of thirteen representatives meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on May 24-25, 1995 and was revised October, 2000 to account for the global aspects of aviation, flight inspection and related activities.
