Since its inception in 1999, IDEA has been involved in archive, library and museum automation, reaching a 70% market share in the local market. Leveraging its dynamic metadata mapping technology and core capabilities for transparent handling of physical, digital and logical information of various origins, languages, and structures, the company has extended its business to cultural heritage and research institutes. IDEA gained momentum with the selection of its system in 2000 by the Yad Vashem Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority to serve as the central infrastructure of its information centers.
