International Enterprises was started in 1977 in Atlanta as an importer of Farm Equipment. Over the years, it developed into a growing building supply company specialized in metal building components. In 1988, Dottie Carnes purchased the company from her longtime friend and mentor, Allen Freedman. Just before the Olympics came to Atlanta in 1996, the decision was made to relocate the business to Stockbridge, GA. By relocating to Stockbridge, GA, which is just 20 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport, we were able to better service our customers and their needs. The warehouse today is twice the size of the original warehouse and we are able to delivery throughout the southeastern states. Then in 2005, Jud Carnes became a partner in the company.
