At the ICF Research Branch we seek a better understanding of disability through multidisciplinary research. We develop, evaluate, and disseminate tools and models of functioning and health for different groups of patients and settings. We strive for the promotion of health, the restoration of functioning and the prevention of disability by applying the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) of the World Health Organization (WHO).
