This site features the towels with excellent water absorption and safety which are produced by Shikoku Towel Industry Association Cooperative based in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture, the towel production center with largest output... The imabari towel has been produced since 1894 when the cotton flannel machine was converted for manufacturing towels. Today about 4,000 looms and 3,000 employees in Imabari produce an annual shipment value of 50 billion yen, which forms more than 60% of the entire towel production in Japan... His book "Super sort out by Kashiwa SATOH" (Nikkei Publishing Inc.) was the best seller in 2007.In imabari towel project he was involved in the designing of brand mark and logo, designing of original design towels as the imabari towel Brand Building Project Creative Director.
