INDEPENDENT CYCLE EAST - Key Persons
Jeff Kessel pursued this endeavor due to his building of the Lowlife and Hardlife Frames, thereby purchasing from Jesse Jurrens of Independent Cycle, Inc. in South Dakota. Jeff was impressed with the manufacturing of the Lowlife and Hardlife frames that he became specialized in building these best frames on the market today.
During the year of 2009, Independent Cycle East moved to its new location at 503 Meade Avenue Hanover, PA 17331. Jeff purchased the other half of Independent Cycle, Inc. from his previous business partner, Jim Winebrenner of Winebrenner Motor Service. Jeff is the sole owner of Independent Cycle East, LLC. Independent Cycle East and Independent Cycle, Inc. are now united by Jeff.
Jeff is also a distributor of the Legend Air Suspensions. Legend Air Suspension is also owned by Jesse Jurrens. Jesse and Jeff became good friends and colleagues over the years. Jeff and his wife, Tracey, are very busy with Legend Air Suspensions in the United States as well as the international market. Legend Air Suspension is simply the best air ride on the market. Jeff believes in this product and is used on all of his bike builds.
The Lowlife and Hardlife frames are now built by Jeff and his colleagues. Jeff owns the complete inventory of the Lowlife and Hardlife Chassis Division. Independent Cycle East is now manufacturing all the Lowlife and Hardlife frames, gas tanks, handlebars, and Millennium Headlights. Complete sheet metal rollers of the Lowlife's and Hardlife's are available. Jeff has also opened up a fully equipped machine shop which includes engine rebuilding, boring, and crank service.
