Conrad Bear

As the Payroll Manager for Indigenous Health Group Inc., Conrad Bear is responsible for the administration of the company's time and attendance and payroll systems. The Payroll Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client service, including recordkeeping and reporting. In addition, as a qualified comptroller of accounting and systems, Mr. Bear is also responsible for overseeing the systems controls of Indigenous Health Group Inc. and for providing accounting and project management support to the Finance Department. Mr. Bear has a diploma in Business Administration, a Certificate in Microcomputer Applications (Hons), and he is currently enrolled in the Red River College Certificate Program in Project Management, Mr. Bear has worked in the health care sector since 2002; prior to this he was employed at Indian and Northern Affairs of Canada, and was co-owner of four accounting businesses throughout the City of Winnipeg.

Peggy Allman-Anderson

Peggy Allman-Anderson is a qualified Nurse Educator with 20 years of experience lecturing in several faculties of nursing at universities in Canada, the United Kingdom and Africa. She is an experienced Community Health Nurse, working in nursing stations in northern Manitoba. Peggy is currently completing a PhD program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba. As the Health Consultant and Educator for Indigenous Health Services Inc., Peggy's main responsibilities are for the IHG Nurse Orientation Program and for providing technical expertise to the company on problems related to clinical nursing activities and health services. The Heath Consultant and Educator reviews and recommends changes in nursing procedures in the organization, provides assistance in developing guides and manuals for specific aspects of the nursing services, prepares educational materials and assists in planning and developing health and educational programs for IHG nursing staff.

Poornima Saraswati - CHRO

Poornima Saraswati has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Certificate in Human Resource Management (Hons) from the University of Manitoba. She has over 20 years experience in the field of human resource management as a consultant and manager for both the private and public sectors. As the Human Resources Director for Indigenous Health Group Inc. she provides guidance and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company.

Ryan Bear

Job Titles:

Ryan Bear is responsible for the development and control of local financial procedures and financial controls. This includes: preparation of monthly management accounts including profit and loss accounts, balance sheet analysis, cash flow, variance analysis and commentary, monthly revenue recognition calculations, accrual/prepayment calculations and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, and preparation of financial forecasts. The Finance Officer oversees the preparation of all invoices for submission to clients. Mr. Bear's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Management (PBDM) from Athabasca University as well as a Business Administration Diploma (Marketing Major) from Red River College. Mr. Bear also holds two designations -- a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) from the AFOA Canada, and a Professional Manager (P.Mgr.) from the Canadian Institute of Management. Prior to working for Indigenous Health Group Inc. Mr. Bear worked for Indian and Northern Affairs of Canada as an Economic Development Officer, and for Indigenous Management Group Inc. and Romanow, Bear & Associates as an Associate Consultant and Finance Officer. Overall, Ryan has been working in finance and accounting since 2001 and in the health care industry since 2004.
