Our flagship store has been operated by our families in the same location since 1921. Our East Lake Street home houses our original butcher shop, and an extensive retail shop that offers everything Scandinavian from housewares to toys to traditional craft tools & supplies... The Metro B Line is a planned bus rapid transit line that will provide faster and more reliable transit service in the Route 21 corridor along Lake Street and Marshall and Selby avenues. We are excited for the completion of this project, but it does mean Lake Street will be under construction in sections throughout the summer... Our advice to you through the season is to avoid Lake Street itself while traveling east or west- 31st Street will be much less cumbersome and access to the northern avenues will be relatively easy.
