Dr Chris Nikolich - CEO

A life-long resident of the Illawarra, Dr Chris Nikolich is a graduate of the University of NSW. He completed his radiology training at The Prince Henry, Prince of Wales and Westmead Hospitals. Dr Nikolich qualified as a specialist radiologist in 1981 and has worked continuously in radiology since. He has extensive experience in all branches of imaging including CT, ultrasound and mammography and currently has particular interest in abdominal imaging, breast imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is currently involved in running clinical revue meetings at Wollongong Hospital. Dr Nikolich and has worked in private practice for over 30 years and worked as a visiting hospital radiologist at Wollongong ,Port Kembla and Shellharbour hospitals over a period of about 15 years. Dr Nikolich speaks fluent Macedionian and can communicate in Serbo Croat.

Dr Deborah Raper - CEO

Dr Raper graduated in Diagnostic Radiology in 1998, and emigrated to Australia in 2003. She has Radiology Fellowships both from South Africa and from Australia. She is a resident in the Illawarra and has worked in Diagnostic Radiology in the Illawarra since 2003. She has interests in many aspects of Medical Imaging including Mammography, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and non-vascular intervention - including selective nerve root blocks, epidural injections, facet joint injections, musculoskeletal injections and Ultrasound guided biopsies.

Dr James Linklater

Dr James Linklater undertook his undergraduate degree at the University of New South Wales and his radiology training at Concord, Royal North Shore and Royal Prince Alfred hospitals. He then did a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York; part of the Cornell Hospital Group. Dr Linklater has particular skills in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention, and has ongoing research interests in imaging osteoarthritis and imaging of ACL reconstructions. He has authored 73 publications and 5 book chapters. He was a member of the imaging team at the Sydney Olympics and at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. He is a Consultant Radiologist for the Asian Football Confederation, Football Federation of Australia National Mens and Women's teams, and a number of professional sports teams in Sydney. He is a past president of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group and is an active member of the International Society of Skeletal Radiologists. In 2019 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to radiology. James became CEO of Castlereagh Imaging and Illawarra Radiology Group in February 2020

Dr Julian Adler - CEO

Dr Adler's primary interests are in radiology of the head and neck and musculoskeletal MRI. In addition, Dr Adler maintains a strong interest and involvement in radiology informatics and teleradiology. In February, 2020 Dr Julian Adler was appointed as CEO of Sonic's Imaging Division.

Dr Kevin Ng - CEO

Dr Kevin Ng is a consultant neuroradiologist who graduated from the University of Sydney and undertook his radiology training at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children's Hospitals. He subsequently underwent an MRI fellowship at Westmead Hospital and Castlereagh Imaging in 2006, followed by further subspecialized neuroradiology fellowship training at the University of Toronto in 2007-2008. He has an active academic focus and is experienced in all aspects of neuroradiology, head and neck, ENT, dental/oral surgery, and ophthalmology/neuro-ophthalmology imaging.

Dr Sarah McGlone - CEO

Dr Sarah McGlone graduated from Monash University Melbourne and commenced her radiology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital and completed her training at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children's Hospitals. Sarah completed a Cross Sectional Imaging fellowship in CT and MRI at the University of Toronto, Canada. Her clinical expertise canvasses all radiological modalities including competency in interventional techniques. Her major interest lies in MRI imaging.

Dr Simon Dimmick - CEO

Dr Simon Dimmick graduated from the University of Sydney and trained in radiology at Royal North Shore Hospital. He undertook a general MRI Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital (predominantly musculoskeletal and neuroradiology) and was awarded a PhD from the University of Notre Dame in surfing injuries. Simon practised as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist prior to studying medicine. He was responsible for a number of professional and schoolboy sporting teams. His subspecialty interest is in musculoskeletal radiology. He has significant experience in image-guided procedures. Simon has an avid interest in research and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. He is involved in sports medicine and radiology registrar training.
