Deanna Hodges

Deanna joined Insignia in 2010 and has practiced exclusively as a forensic accountant for over 20 years. She specializes in insurance loss quantification and has handled thousands of assignments, including fraud investigations and financial disputes. Deanna is involved in the firm's quality control review process and client training activities, and also writes for industry publications. She commenced her career in KPMG's assurance practice and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

John-Paul Strasler - Founder

John-Paul is the Founder and Principal of Insignia Forensic Group. He has over 25 years of experience across a broad spectrum of investigative and forensic accounting matters, including personal injury and commercial insurance claims, civil and commercial disputes, and fraud and conflict of interest investigations. In addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) and Certified Public Accountant (U.S.), John-Paul holds the Certified in Financial Forensics designation awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. John-Paul has testified as an expert witness, been appointed as an Appraiser under the Insurance Act of Ontario and assisted in mediation, arbitration and appraisal proceedings, as well as settlement negotiations. He has authored published articles on insurance claims and fraud, and is routinely invited by the legal and insurance communities to speak on these matters.
