Andrea Todd

Andrea started her insurance career in 1987 where she worked on both the agency and company side of the business. She is experienced in both Personal and Commercial Lines. In 2007 she obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor Designation. Andrea was hired by Paquin and Carroll Insurance in 2004, where she started as a Marketing Rep and moved into the Account Executive role in Commercial Lines. She was promoted to Vice President and currently is part of the management staff supervising the Commercial Lines Department. In her free time, she enjoys being at the lake and spending time with her family.

Bonnie Sawyer

Bonnie has been working in the insurance industry since November 2000, mostly working in personal lines. She joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in December 2014, and feels it is a great place to work with its family-oriented atmosphere and open door policies. She feels that making the move to Paquin & Carroll Insurance was a great one and wouldn't want to be anywhere else (except maybe a warm beach). In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys quilting, reading, walking the beach, binge-watching television series and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Christine Robida

Christine joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2019. She enjoys getting to know our clients and helping them understand their insurance and why it is important. A life-long Mainer, Christine enjoys spending lots of quality time with her 3 grandchildren.

Dan Cote

Dan started in the insurance business in 1988 and has been specializing in the Employee Benefits area for 21 years. He joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2004. His deep knowledge of benefits has allowed him to help hundreds of employers create benefit plans that control cost and lower expenses while keeping the plans competitive and attractive to current and potential employees. Ready to tackle issues and looking at Alternative Funding, Wellness and Claim trends are a few examples of why Dan has retained his clients for many years. In 2014, he received a certificate in Health Care Reform Studies from the American College. He is a Past President and current member of the Saco Bay Rotary Club. Dan also serves as the current President of the Board for Connection for Kids/Kids Free to Grow. He resides in Saco with his wife and daughter and enjoys activities like golf, snowmobiling, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Dave Gash

Dave was born and raised in the geographic center of the State of Kentucky, Danville. He obtained my B.A. from College Wooster in 2003 and started selling insurance at his family's agency. His Grandfather and Father started Gash Fitzpatrick Insurance, where Dave began his career. He worked in the family business until 2017 when he and his family moved to Maine. Before joining Paquin & Carroll Insurance as a Commercial Account Executive, Dave worked for a local agency. His goal as the Commercial Account Executive is to live up to Paquin & Carroll's stewardship to the local community. He believes that "insurance is the backbone of the country, because they're involved in almost every aspect of business." Dave states that if we're doing our jobs well, we we can protect the jobs of everyone else in our community and be successful. Living in Maine is a dream come true for Dave because of how geographically dynamic the landscape is. Not only does he enjoy exploring Maine's coastal region, mountains and lakes, but he appreciates having a city life close by when he craves it. In the summer, Dave and his family enjoy riding their bikes down to the beach or hiking the various trails in the area. They also visit State Parks and soak in the natural beauty of Maine, which allows Dave and his wife to share an engaging perspective of where they are in the world with their 3 kids.

Dawn Drown

Dawn joined the Paquin & Carroll Insurance Team as the Office Administrator in 2002 and went back to her "Insurance Roots" 10 years ago when the Employee Benefits Department expanded. Dawn enjoys making insurance as painless as possible for her clients and makes it her goal to make the process as stress-free as possible for each person she works with. Outside of the office, Dawn can be found enjoying quality time with her family and friends, or listening to 80's music - which she believes truly does make everything better.

Doug Willett

Doug's insurance career began shortly after the ice storm of 1998. While working as a project manager for a local real estate developer, the ice storm halted building and he was contacted by The General Adjustment Bureau to write property estimates for the local insurance companies. Upon completion of this assignment, Doug was offered a full-time adjuster position and completed their insurance school program in Colorado. Doug worked as an adjuster for GAB and Colonial Adjustment until he joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2003, as a Commercial Lines Agent. Doug has continued to work with contractors, investment property owners, and entrepreneurs, helping them with their insurance coverages. He specializes in hard to place risks, contract review, risk transfer agreements and workers compensation alternatives. Outside of the office, Doug enjoys all of the outdoor activities Maine has to offer, from skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to golfing and biking in the summer. One of the greatest pleasures of the job is working with startup businesses and helping them achieve their goals. A great insurance agent is a key member of the team, right alongside the attorney and banker.

Dwayne Welch

Dwayne joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2020 after working at AAA Insurance Agency in Nashville, Tennessee as a Marketing Representative. While in Tennessee, Dwayne acquired his CPCU designation in order to expand his knowledge of the industry and better serve his clients. Outside of the office, Dwayne and his wife love spending time with their children and grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, golfing, and cross-country skiing.

Erin Laflin

Erin joined Paquin & Carroll in 2023, having previously worked at UNUM and The Hartford in the Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment as well as the Long Term Disability Departments. She graduated from Thornton Academy and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England. Erin is excited about the opportunity to engage more closely with her clients and assist them with their Commercial needs. Her hobbies encompass spending quality time with her daughter, indulging in summer activities, watching sports, reading, and enjoying the company of family and friends.

Ethan Richards

Ethan started working at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2022. He recently graduated from Endicott College with a B.S. in Business Management. During his time in college, Ethan gained valuable experience working in the insurance industry as an intern for both MEMIC and AFLAC. He is eager to continue learning and growing in his career development, and looks forward to being able to invest in the community he grew up in. Outside of work, Ethan loves acting, cooking and travelling.

Jake Laplume

Jake Nason

Jake Nason is a lifelong resident of Saco. He attended Thornton Academy for High School and received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Southern Maine, specializing in Management and Analytics. Jake's interests revolve around movies and TV shows, making him an avid viewer. While he enjoys watching various sports, Jake is a big fan of the Patriots and the Celtics. During his leisure time, Jake indulges in a variety of activities such as spending time with loved ones, reading books, and exploring new movies and shows.

Jennifer Poulin

Jennifer started working for Paquin & Carroll Insurance in January of 2021. Prior to that, she worked at Cross Insurance for 8 years. Jennifer has been working in the insurance industry for over 23 years, and enjoys the process of getting to know her clients. Jennifer has two sons and two dogs, and enjoys spending time at the lake with her family and friends.

Josh Fearon - President

Josh joined Paquin & Carroll in 2006 after working at UNUM in Portland. He is a graduate of St. Anselm College and Thornton Academy. Josh is the Agency President and Commercial Lines Agent, and enjoys the challenges he faces when crafting commercial programs for businesses as well as the fulfillment that comes from assisting his clients when a claim occurs. His hobbies include golfing, skiing and spending quality time with his daughter, son and wife.

Kelli Locke

Kelli started working at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in March 2017. Prior to that, she worked at CIEE for 14 years managing a student travel health plan for international exchange students. Kelli enjoys working with local businesses and learning about all our community has to offer. When she's not working, Kelli enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and tinkering on woodworking projects. She also enjoys participating in sprint triathlons and road races.

Kristen Jenkins

Lori Bataran

Lynn Vigneault

Lynn started working at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in June of 1987. Prior to that, she worked in the medical insurance field and was interested in expanding her knowledge to the property and casualty side knowing that she needed this type of insurance herself. Lynnsey McDonough

Nichole joined Paquin & Carroll in June 2022, bringing with her over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry working at MetLife and State Farm. Nichole is passionate about helping people and enjoys educating clients on coverages so they can decide on what is most important to them. She's excited to be a part of the team and truly loves that Paquin and Carroll is an Independent Agency with access to multiple carriers. Nicole was born and raised in Southern Maine and is a graduate of Thornton Academy. At the age of 20, she moved to Florida where she began her career in the mortgage industry, and in 2007, she transitioned into the insurance industry and worked for an agency where she earned her Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. After 9 years as a Florida resident, Nicole decided to return to her Maine to be closer to family. With over a decade of industry experience, Nicole had the privilege to work in personal lines and commercial lines insurance which has allowed her to provide clients a thorough understanding of insurance needs while reducing risk exposures. In her personal time, Nicole enjoys cooking, spending time with family & friends and travelling.

Patti started at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in December of 1993, after working at Dunkin' Donuts for 6 years prior. She started off as a file clerk and worked her way up to Receptionist, where she has been for the past 20 years. She has enjoyed working with great people over the years, and enjoys working for her clients and helping them with their insurance needs. Over the years, she has had some amazing clients walk through the office doors and she is thankful for their continuous support. She has a great family, loving husband of 25+ years, two wonderful kids and a beautiful granddaughter.

Paula Hayward

Paula joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance Employee Benefits Department in January 2018. Before joining the team, she was the office manager at DSM Metal Fabrication Inc., formerly known as Don's Sheet Metal. After 35 years, she decided that it was time for a career change and recently obtained her Life and Health license at Paquin & Carroll Insurance. She was born and raised in Biddeford and currently resides in Saco with her husband of 30+ years and two sons. Outside of work, Paula enjoys cross stitching and traveling.

Phillip Smith

Phil joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2016 with 6 year of experience under his belt as a Property and Casualty Insurance Producer in both Commercial and Personal Lines as well as an additional 8 years of experience as a Multi-Line Insurance Adjuster. He enjoys meeting and helping both existing and new clients with coverage questions they may have. Phil is very active in the community holding leadership roles in the local Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Football Officiating Boards. He is also a big sports fan. When he isn't watching a game, you may also see him trying new foods at local restaurants with his friends and family members.

Shawna Lancaster

Shawna began her insurance career in 2002 at Dunlap Insurance/Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Northern New England/Willis of Northern New England in Bangor. There, she served as an MGA for Westport Insurance, specializing in underwriting Lawyers' Professional Liability in Maine and New Hampshire. Shawna was one of two MGAs for Westport to receive the highest authority level granted. She also focused on Accountants Professional Liability and Medical Professional Liability. In 2010, Shawna transitioned to Varney Agency, first as a Commercial Lines Agent, then progressing to Office Manager in Bangor. Eventually, she became a Regional Manager overseeing multiple agency locations. Shawna is closely bonded with her twin sister and spends most of her time with her. Additionally, Shawna's boyfriend is also a twin. She treasures spending time with her four beautiful nieces and her beloved bonus daughter. Shawna is a proud owner of three dogs named Bentley, Mercedes, and Portia.

He is a 2010 graduate of Thornton Academy, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bentley University, and his Master's Degree from St. Joseph's College of Maine. Tom finds satisfaction in being impactful for his clients by allowing them to focus on their business instead of the risks that come with it. Outside of work, Tom enjoys running, golfing and is an avid reader.
