Ann Levine has over 20 years human resources experience in both the private and public sectors. Her expertise in strategic and tactical areas of human resources includes planning, resource management, staffing, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration and training. Ms. Levine has hands-on experience in directing and managing human resources departments. As an independent consultant, she has worked with organizations to align human resources practices with business strategy. Ms. Levine also coaches executives and managers on human resources strategy and human capital integration. Ms. Levine holds a Master's degree in Management, a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Current professional memberships include SHRM and the Boulder Area Human Resources Association (BAHRA). She is currently an Executive-in-Residence at the Leeds School of Business and a graduate student mentor at the University of Colorado at Boulder. A trained mediator, Ms. Levine serves on the Steering Committee for the City of Boulder's Community Mediation Service.

Intellectual Property Shield was founded by three private partners in August 2005. The Company is incorporated in Illinois, with offices in Bensenville and Chicago Illinois. After spending decades working with companies which create and consume intellectual property, our founders agreed that misuse of copyrighted materials - especially Standards was rampant throughout enterprises and their supply chains. The misuse of these documents causes the stakeholders of this valuable content (mostly SDOs) to increase prices to re-capture the lost revenues resulting from such infractions as incorrect copying and distribution practices. We observed that the main reason misuse is so common was due to lack of knowledge, not malicious intent. The typical purchasing transaction for Standards usually involves few or sometimes one person in the enterprise. Ergo, the content provider may only "educate" the person or group signing the contract. When it became apparent that so few people know the rules that govern the use of intellectual property, as opposed to the many people who use the information, we designed a web-based tutorial that would "certify" end users, would not take a lot of time to complete, and would be sold at a fair price. The result was an E-Learning course called Copyright Aware™

Diane C. Thompson, President, Thompson Consulting, Inc., is an internationally recognized expert with over 25 years of experience in standards development, distribution, management, and application. Ms. Thompson has provided consulting and educational services to national standards bodies, government agencies, standards developing organizations, trade associations, professional societies, and private companies. Ms. Thompson has developed and presented courses such as Standardization Principles and Practices, Strategic Standardization Management, A Guide to Standards, and Standards and Technical Regulations. In addition, she has developed training materials and instructed participants from more than 50 countries on the information requirements of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade. Ms. Thompson is a member of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Committee on Education, the Standards Engineering Society (SES) Education Committee, and the World Standards Day Planning Committee. She currently serves as Editor of the SES Journal, Standards Engineering. Ms. Thompson was named a Fellow of SES in 1996 and served as President of the Society from 1997 to 1999. Ms. Thompson holds an Honors Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Pam Booker has worked with Fortune 1000 clients for over 15 years, spearheading the e-Learning industry at NETg, a worldwide leader in workforce knowledge and skill development content. Over the last 12 years, Pam has served as a business development executive in the e-Learning and technology services industries. Ms. Booker has created and negotiated volume license agreements for Fortune 1000 clients, to facilitate their acquisition of desktop software such as Microsoft, Adobe, and IBM. Pam pioneered the e-Learning localization practice at Lionbridge Technologies, a global translation and globalization services company. Her accomplishments at Lionbridge include the cultivation of strategic alliance partnerships and the creation of consulting offerings, positioning Lionbridge as the leader in global readiness services. During her tenure with SkillSoft Corporation, Pam introduced a variety of offerings to the Fortune 1000 market, including custom content development, SkillSoft's Learning Management Platform, and multi-year volume license agreements. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from North Central College in Illinois.

Mr. Williams is Vice President, Standards for Underwriters Laboratories Inc, where he has global responsibility for UL's standards development process. In his responsibility for managing UL's standards activities, Mr. Williams interacts regularly with trade associations, government agencies, national, regional and international standards developing organizations, and inspection authorities. Mr. Williams' current membership affiliations include the ANSI National Policy Committee (NPC) and International Policy Committee (IPC); Vice President-Technology of the U.S. National Committee to the IEC, where he Chairs the USNC Technical Management Committee and is a member of the USNC Council Board; U.S. Representative to the IEC Standards Management Board; and Chair of the ANSI Appeals Board. In prior years, Robert has served as a member of Code Panel 1 to the U.S. National Electrical Code published by the National Fire Protection Association; the Executive Standards Council of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and Treasurer of CANENA, where he worked to develop guidelines for preparation of North American regional standards. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from Loyola University, Chicago.
