Alan Galletto

Native of Rochester, NY, Alan believes in providing the highest level of customer service to his clients. That means always being accessible, knowledgeable and responsive to his client's needs. An Air Force veteran, Alan began his career in business after earning his B.S. in Mathematics from SUNY Brockport. He was consistently a top performer at IBM. His career is decorated with awards and recognitions, including membership in over a dozen IBM 100% Clubs, 2 Golden Circles, a Gold Medalist Award, and as Director of the 100% Club. He has lived and worked in many places throughout his career - from California to Boston to Washington, DC. He has developed and sold successful businesses, and served his community in leadership roles, including two terms as the Chamber of Commerce President on Anna Maria Island. When relocating to the Anna Maria Island more than 20 years ago, Alan decided to apply his expertise to the real estate marketplace. She originally started with Island Real Estate January 17, 2015 and has come and gone several times over the years and held many positions from HSKP Runner, to HSKP Office Assistant, to Owner Relations Coordinator, to HSKP Head Inspector and everything in between. Cheryl Hindle

Cheryl starts with Island Real Estate Vacations (IREV) on Monday Sept 11, 2023 as the Vacation Rental Manager (VRM) for Vacation Rentals reporting to Claudia. The VRM provides guests and owners with Five Star Service using leadership capabilities to handle in-house guest requests, issues or concerns along with developing positive guest relations. Cheryl will manage all aspects of the Guest Services/Reservations department, handle conflict resolution, monitor the day-to-day activities of all Vacation Rental Specialists, and ensure that all new staff is properly trained on Guest Service/Reservation procedures. Cheryl will work at the East Bay Office. Cheryl brings to IREV over 30 years in resort management and hospitality experience and held a variety of positions from Catering and Convention Services Management (16 years) for Hilton, Account Executive (4 years) for Far Horizons Tourism and now for RVA Resorts for 10 years on Longboat Key, first as the Resort Operations Manager for 4 years and currently as the Cedars East Tennis Resort, Resort and Club Manager, for the past 6 years. Claudia Mir

Claudia originally started with Island Real Estate (IRE) in 2013. During her first 4 years, Claudia had progressive growth from HSKP Team Lead Inspector to MAINT Dispatch Coordinator to MAINT Supervisor to Guest Services Manager. In addition, Claudia was a valuable resource for our Operations Team who developed many positive relationships with owners, guests, and vendors. After the sale of IRE in 2017, Claudia decided to use that opportunity to focus on school. She returned to Island Real Estate Vacations (IREV) in MAY 2020 as a part-time Vacation Rental Specialist while still attending school full-time. During this time, Claudia also worked as the Laundry Team Lead where she helped plan, organize, and direct the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. In 2021, Claudia left IREV to start a family cleaning business while continuing her education and where she acquired the ability to successfully manage a business while providing high quality services to ensure customer satisfaction. As a recent graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Claudia possesses great communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, her educational background has equipped her with the necessary analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems and make appropriate decisions. Claudia rejoined the IREV team as General Manager in FEB 2023. In this role, she will utilize her 10+ years of progressive work knowledge in the vacation rental industry to create memorable and lasting owner, guest, and employee experiences. As the General Manager, Claudia will work directly with the local team towards success while being accountable for driving our 5-star rating reviews by building a rapport with staff, guests, and owners as well as driving revenue, rebuilding the IRE brand, and seeking new growth opportunities.

Jodi Nichols - CEO

Jodi's specialty is designing vacation rental properties. Her goal is to create comfortable coastal looks that represent the area and the natural aesthetic of the property without the high price tag as compared to other local designers and shops in and around Anna Maria Island, Florida. As a girl raised in Florida all her life, she has always had a passion for the beach and all things coastal. In Jodi's professional career, she has over 25 years of successful, progressive operations leadership experience in resort hospitality and vacation rental management as well as over 10 years' experience working in interior design across Florida. Jodi's experience working in the vacation rental industry in Florida and knowing what is required to meet guests and owner expectations brought a level of expertise and service that other local design companies have not been able to replicate. On Anna Maria Island, Jodi has been able to use her natural creativity, knowledge, experience, and strong attention to detail to successfully update close to 100 properties and fully renovated over 40 properties since moving down from the panhandle in 2012. Jodi's personalized designs have created a fan base with local property owners who have utilized her services to renovate more than one of their vacation rental properties. Jodi prides herself on being detailed oriented, professional and creative. As the Revenue Manager, Kacey manages the day to day rate yield operations for our vacation rental bookings with the primary goal of maximizing rental revenue for Owners. Kacey originally started with Island Real Estate (IRE) January 1999. During Kacey's 24 years with IRE she progressively excelled to higher leadership roles and took on many duties across all departments to include assisting Rental Owners, Vacation Rental Guests, Real Estate Sales Clients and Community Leaders. Lewis Hughes

As a key member of our design team, Lewis has been the main technician to assist with interior design projects and has completed over 40 renovations with Jodi Nichols for vacation rental properties on Anna Maria Island. Lewis originally started with Island Real Estate in January 2013 as a Maintenance Technician. During his time with Island Real Estate, Lewis showed his expertise through proven results and quickly progressed to become our Senior Project Technician utilizing his knowledge and skills to team up with Jodi Nichols. Lewis is one of the top technicians working on the island today and few have the experience he does. Some of Lewis' skills include but not limited to, residential construction, pool and spa, electrical, plumbing, handyman service and a keen eye for detail.

Logan Nichols

Logan originally started with Island Real Estate Vacations June 15, 2020 after getting out of the Air Force and was the Community Association Manager for IRE until leaving in 2021 to spend time with his family. After a year hiatus, Logan is returned to IREV to fill the ORM position. This position supports the IREV operations department and retention efforts by providing comprehensive assistance, support, and interactive communications and services to our current owners. The POM will lead with the onboarding process of new owners to the IREV rental program. The POM ensures all assigned vacation rental properties are in good condition and meet IREV standards for rental program participation. Tiffany Miles

Tiffany (Tiff) started with Island Real Estate Vacations (IREV) in June 2020 as a Vacation Rental Specialist, in 2022 was promoted to Property Operations Coordinator, and she has since been promoted in 2023 to Owner Relations Manager. In this role, Tiff will help with property inspections, onboarding, and property upgrades. She is also an integral part of our Design and Renovations team in the role of Interior Design Assistant. Tom Nelson

"Invest in a Life Style… Invest in Anna Maria Island." When Tom heard that phase, it didn't take him long to convince his wife that this was the greatest undiscovered piece of paradise to live and raise a family. That's when Tom and his wife, Peggy, along with their son, Chris, moved to Anna Maria Island in 1987 from Michigan. Tom's parents had owned a home in Bradenton since the mid-fifties and he had vacationed there many times with the area becoming a second home to him. Spending 17 years in the lending banking industry, Tom had been a Vice-President of Michigan National Bank. Always interested in the real estate market, he decided to give real estate sales a try and enjoyed it immensely. In 1990, Tom met Frank Davis while working at Neal & Neal REALTORS. They worked well together and when Frank started Island Real Estate of Anna Maria Island, Inc. in 1993, Tom soon followed. Tom has been active locally serving as a past Director and Treasurer of the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce. He has been a member of the chamber for 20 years and has served as a member of many committees. Also Tom has served as a Director with the Manatee Board of REALTORS and has been a past Vice Chairman of the Grievance Committee and a member of the Professional Standards Committee. Tom enjoys playing golf and is a member of Key Royale Golf Club. When time permits, boating and travel are high on his list of priorities.
