Shivendu is a seasoned FMCG industry veteran with a 25-year track record of business leadership and organisational transformation across multiple categories, markets and a wide variety of cultures and business contexts. He is an experienced practitioner with both breadth and depth across business strategy and operations, financial management, multi-cultural organisation leadership and stakeholder management.
Shivendu is passionate about consciously catalysing transformation across sectors and markets that create human, social and business capital - and multiply in impact over the coming decades & also sustain across generations. He does this via a portfolio of roles that include mentoring and advisory for Singapore-based SMEs and start-ups as Founder of TenX Mezzo, Corporate Advisor at Temasek International, Enterprise Development Group, Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS Business School, Consultant at Trinity Brand Group and Innovation Advisor at IPI.
In his last role, Shivendu was Vice President of Kellogg's snacks business across the Asia-Africa region. He oversaw doubling of the business with a sustained six-year phase of growth acceleration and margin expansion after the successful Asia/Africa-wide integration of Pringles into Kellogg's. He also led the localisation of the Pringles supply chain into Asia, expansion of Kellogg's snacks brand portfolio into the Wholesome Snacks and building impulse Snacks route-to-market and innovation capability across the region in key markets.
Before Kellogg's, Shivendu built a successful 15-year career with Procter & Gamble (P&G) spanning multiple markets, categories and functions across Asia. As Commercial Director of P&G Asia's Snacks & Pet Care businesses, he led the successful turnaround of Pringles and Iams/Eukanuba brands and businesses. Prior to that as Marketing Manager of P&G India's Laundry & Health Care businesses, he led the growth acceleration of the Ariel, Tide & Vicks brands & businesses.
Shivendu graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS), Pilani in India with an MSc (Tech.) degree; after which he completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta with specialisation in Strategy and Marketing.
