Aerial ropeways, mainly jig-back ropeways, circulating gondolas and chair lifts are often used in ski areas and tourist destinations. Japan Ropeway Engineering Association is composed by ropeway manufacturers and/or associated companies with ropeway production, who contributes to the society via securing of safety transportation and technical innovations.
