Aaron Jacobs

Aaron began his construction career in 2000, working in Denver for a large commercial contractor before returning to California. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife and three children. Aaron also enjoys traveling and has visited many great places including India and Peru. Alice Rowan

  • Office Manager
Alice understands the importance of providing the best service to every client. She is our main go-to person for just about anything that needs attention, she also owns the important task of payroll ensuring all employees get paid. When Alice is not busy being "Girl Friday", she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. She also loves reading, working in her yard and traveling.

Andrew Supinger

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Andrew believes managing expectations of each client and design team is essential to a successful project. Originally from Washington, Andrew started at JMA as an assistant project manager and quickly became a project manager. When he is not hard at work, he is spending time with his wife and two children. Andrew is also an avid sports fan, you will see him rooting for the WSU Cougars, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Golden State Warriors.

Austin Hardy

Austin's been hard at work in the building trades for the past 20 years, specializing in carpentry. During this time, his creative and industrious nature has led to an array of skills and experience valuable to the success of each project. At home, Austin is a dad who likes swimming, bike riding, days on the coast and dinners at wine country eateries.

Bill Burnett

Bill believes there is always something to be learned from every person and every situation. Bill was with JMA as a journeyman carpenter from 2001- 2005, since then he has gained additional experience from other local construction companies. Bill loves being outdoors, enjoys hiking and connecting with nature. He has hiked Mount St. Helena over 280 times and has completed the John Muir Trail.

Craig Jahnke

Craig appreciates a new challenge everyday and working on beautiful properties. Even though he was born in Washington Craig has over 25 years of construction experience in the North Bay, he enjoys being able to turn over a completed project to a satisfied customer. In his spare time Craig enjoys hiking, golfing and traveling.

David Zaragoza

"We are very thankful we chose JMA to build our house. Jim Murphy has built an amazing firm with a truly incredible team." David is always proud of a job well done. He has worked for the City of Santa Rosa and as a self employed remodeler, constructing many different types of projects. David loves animals, gardening and attending sporting events his 3 girls are involved in. David's favorite part of construction is pointing out the projects he has been apart of to his family every time they drive by.

Hemza Hussein

Hemza believes you should never stop learning because it gives you courage. Hemza began his construction career as a laborer building custom homes. He finds the best part about working in construction is the teamwork required to be successful. Outside of work, Hemza enjoys the outdoors and exploring what nature has to offer. He also enjoys traveling and is grateful to have been able to live in several countries.

Jesse Malone

  • VP of Operations
Jesse loves solving problems. With a background in engineering and design, he began his professional career designing and building robotics and special effects for movies. This industry helped him develop a unique skill set, particularly effective in construction management and the challenges that it presents. Jesse started his construction career in downtown San Francisco managing commercial projects. He came to JMA in 2005 as a senior superintendent, oversaw some of JMA's most prestigious projects and solidified his reputation as a reliable leader, talented builder and true steward. He became a principal in 2016 and formally took over for Jim Murphy in June of 2021. Outside of work, Jesse can be found outdoors enjoying mountain biking, running and spending time with his family.

Jill O'Connor

Jill enjoys the constantly changing world of construction. She got her start working for a plumbing wholesaler, then went to work for a plumbing subcontractor before becoming an assistant project manager. When Jill is not working you can find her teaching group fitness classes or spending time with her husband and daughter.

Joanne Denner

Joanne believes in trusting your instincts, taking time to smell the roses and has learned not to sweat the small stuff. Joanne started her career at the age of 16 helping her father, a general contractor, with payroll. She takes great pride in watching JMA projects come together over her 20 plus years with the team. Joanne loves spending time with her husband, son and grandchildren.

Juan Vera

Juan takes great pride in his work and enjoys looking back at the end of a successful project and seeing the final result. Juan started with JMA as a carpenter before becoming a superintendent. He coached fast-pitch girls' traveling softball for eight years, enjoys trap shooting and working with his horse.

Mike Butala

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Mike is a US Army Veteran and has been a superintendent in California, Montana and Northern Idaho. In Montana, he was a little league baseball coach and a board member of the Northwest Little League Association. Mike is also an avid fly fisherman and a pretty good golfer.

Mike Marvin

Mike enjoys the variety that working in construction brings with it's new and interesting challenges each day. Mike started his working career as an early childhood educator for 10 years. Mike believes his greatest accomplishment is helping raise two confident, outgoing and happy children. Outside of work Mike enjoys golf, hockey, traveling and spending time with his family.

Noah Costa

Noah enjoys creating personal interactions with all team members on his jobs. Many years ago, Noah started with JMA as a laborer and worked his way up to superintendent. With his many years of experience, he has learned to enjoy both the residential and commercials sides of construction. Noah's favorite pastime is spending time with his wife and twin daughters.

Sophie Rowan

  • Accounts Payable / Bookkeeping
Sophie enjoys watching the construction workload develop day to day and keeping things clean and organized. She originally joined team JMA as our office assistant and worked her way up to accounts payable. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys riding her Harleys, cooking a good meal and folding laundry while listening to bluegrass or outlaw country. In addition, she played softball for almost 15 years, co-captained the SRJC women's softball team, was voted MVP and crowned an All-Conference player.

Steve Ronchelli - President

Steve began his career in the construction industry in 1983, and has worked as a laborer, estimator, and project manager. Prior to joining JMA, Steve spent many years working for one of Northern California's largest concrete contractors, giving him in-depth knowledge of architectural and structural concrete, including tilt-up construction. He was promoted to vice-president of operations at JMA and became a minority shareholder in 2012, and now holds the position of company president. In addition to his role as President, Steve is responsible for pre-construction services, estimating and project management of various projects. His ability to see and implement value engineering, from both a cost and a scheduling standpoint, makes him a very valuable team member. Outside of work, his life revolves around family, faith and sports. Riding bikes, working in the yard, time at Tahoe and a good glass of wine round out a good life.

Thomas Anderson

Thomas believes that taking one step at a time will get you where you need to go. Having the opportunity to experience the building environment as a laborer, a concrete finisher and an architect, he has the knowledge to facilitate challenging new projects. Thomas has been happily married for over 30 years, is the father of two children and has an incredible grandson. He always looks forward to backpacking through the High Sierras and, from time to time, still enjoys mixing it up with the young guys on the basketball court.

Tom Fruiht

Tom began his career working as a laborer for his father, a general contractor, and has many years of industry experience between working on custom homes and commercial projects. Tom grew up in Sonoma County and is now raising his own family here. He enjoys riding mountain bikes, playing music and spending quality time with his wife and kids.
