Benjamin R. Jacobson

Benjamin R. Jacobson, Managing General Partner. Since 1978, Mr. Jacobson has acquired all or part of dozens of companies ranging in size from $15 million to $250 million in revenue. Mr. Jacobson started his career in investment banking, first at Paine Webber, Inc. from 1969-1971 and later at White, Weld & Co. from 1972-1976, where he became First Vice-President in the Investment Banking Department. In 1976, Mr. Jacobson left White, Weld to start his own investment banking firm, Jacobson, Gollust & Co. From 1983-1984, he was a Managing Director of Donaldson Enterprises, Inc., which managed a private equity fund. Mr. Jacobson founded Jacobson & Co. in 1984 for the purpose of acquiring companies, as well as providing investment banking services. In 1989, he formed Jacobson Partners to make direct equity investments. Mr. Jacobson served as Chairman of the Board of the YMCA of Greater New York and as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Union College as well as sitting on the board of other non-profit organizations. He has also served as a visiting professor at the University of Virginia's Darden Business School. Mr. Jacobson graduated with a B.S. from Union College and holds an M.B.A. with Honors from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.

George Kellner

Mr. Kellner has been in the hedge fund business for over 35 years and founded Kellner DiLeo & Co., LP (the predecessor entity to Kellner Capital) in 1981. Prior to Kellner Capital, Mr. Kellner was a Senior Vice President and founded the arbitrage department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Before commencing his arbitrage career, Mr. Kellner was a Vice President and House Counsel of the Madison Fund where he had broad responsibilities as a financial analyst and portfolio manager. Mr. Kellner began his professional career as a securities lawyer at the Wall Street law firm of Carter, Ledyard and Milburn and holds a B.A. from Trinity College, a J.D. from Columbia Law School and an M.B.A. from New York University's Leonard Stern Graduate School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of Finance at the Stern School. He serves and has served on the boards of numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Gerald L. Parsky

Gerald L. Parsky is Chairman of Aurora Capital Group L.P., a Los Angeles based U. S. investment firm, specializing in the acquisition of U.S. companies. From 1977 until 1992, Mr. Parsky was affiliated with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was a Senior Partner and a member of the Executive and Management Committees. From 1974 until 1977, he served as Assistant Secretary of the U. S. Treasury, responsible for capital markets policy; responsible for all of the Treasury Department's international affairs, including trade policy; international monetary policy; investment and energy policy; relations with industrial and developing countries; and U. S. policy relating to the international financial institutions, such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Mr. Parsky has been awarded the Woodrow Wilson Institute Corporate Citizen Award; the Alexander Hamilton Award (highest award presented in the U. S. Treasury Department); and was voted One of Ten Outstanding Young Men in America by U. S. Jaycees. Mr. Parsky is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Virginia Law School.

James J. Morgan

James J. Morgan, General Partner. Since January 2002, Mr. Morgan has been a partner of Jacobson Partners, having previously been an investor in Jacobson Partners, as well as performing consulting assignments. Mr. Morgan is a Director of Swan Products and Passur Aerospace, and previously served on the Boards of Taco Bueno Restaurants, Inc., Childtime Learning Centers, Inc. and Bertucci Corporation. Mr. Morgan is primarily involved with the consumer related companies in the portfolio and participates in the evaluation of new investment opportunities. Mr. Morgan retired in 1997 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris Incorporated after a 30 year career with the company. Mr. Morgan is a graduate of Princeton University.

Jamie L. Goldberg

Jamie L. Goldberg, CPA - Controller. Mrs. Goldberg joined Jacobson Partners in May 1998. Prior to joining Jacobson Partners, Mrs. Goldberg worked in public accounting and corporate finance. Mrs. Goldberg graduated with a B.B.A from the University of Michigan and became a C.P.A. in 1984.
