Angie Levinthal

Angie Levinthal began practicing law in 1997. She first worked for John O'Quinn at O'Quinn & Laminack. Angie's docket consisted of medical malpractice and maritime law cases as well as insurance class action litigation. After taking some years off to start a family, Angie became a licensed mediator in 2011 and mediated part time for five years. In January 2016, Angie joined the law office of Jeb Brown where she now focuses on real estate transactions, real estate and construction litigation as well as corporate and entity creation. Since 2016, Angie's practice has primarily focused on real estate acquisitions, land development, commercial leasing and corporate and entity creation. Angie represents and has worked with many homeowners' associations and condominium owners' associations as well as residential home builders throughout Houston and the surrounding areas. Angie has also worked closely with the Texas Lower Colorado River Authority for clients who wished to erect marinas and other structures on Lake Travis. Additionally, Angie has experience representing owners of manufactured home parks with tenant disputes and eviction procedures. Angie holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. After her first year of law school, Angie held a paid fellowship at the San Antonio Community Law Center where she provided legal services to low-income families. The following summer, Angie clerked for O'Quinn & Laminack. Angie married her law school sweetheart, Jared, in 1999. Angie and Jared have three daughters, ages 19, 16 and 11 who attend Loyola University - Chicago, Episcopal High School and First Presbyterian School respectively. In her free time, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, running, practicing hot yoga and training her new dog, Emma Jean.

Carlie Cameron

Carlie Cameron joined the firm in 2014 and manages the general daily operations, such as, accounting, information technology, client relations, inventory control, and financial and facilities management. She works closely with the firm's attorneys, performing due diligence, drafting and reviewing transactional documents, and coordinating closing components for complex real estate transactions. Carlie's experience includes interactions with all levels of state and local government, special departments and agencies, and interfacing between clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders and adverse party attorneys. The firm's attorneys also rely on Carlie for support in corporate matters, including business entity formations and terminations, filings with the IRS and Secretary of State, and assistance with preparation of legal documents in connection with portfolio sales, acquisitions, corporate restructuring and financing deals. Carlie is originally from Kansas City and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts. She moved to Houston with her husband in 2010 and worked as an eCommerce Retail Buyer before transitioning into the legal industry. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and her three rescue dogs.
