Aoife Murphy

Aoife Murphy is a legal secretary specialising in property matters. She assists with property sales and purchases, leases, residential and commercial mortgages, site and farm transfers and commercial transactions. She first began working with John A Sinnott Solicitors on work placement while completing her Bachelor (Hons) in Legal Studies with Business at Waterford Institute of Technology, during 2020 and 2021. Such was her flair and efficiency, that immediately on completion of her degree, she became a permanent member of the team. A keen music fan, Aoife listens to many genres and is also an avid reader. At every opportunity, she loves to travel, exploring new places and experiencing new cultures.

Ashling Walker

Ashling Walker is a Legal Executive at John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors, specialising in family law and litigation cases. Having attained a Diploma in Legal Studies from Carlow IT while working full time in the industry, Ashling then progressed to achieving a Special Purpose Award in Family Law. In January 2023, she achieved a Diploma in Family Law, awarded by The Law Society of Ireland. Her innate belief in achieving justice led her towards working in the specific areas of family law and litigation. Ashling has over 15 years' experience working in these areas and her focus is determined and her attitude positive. Ashling is an organised person and a great natural communicator and these are characteristics highly beneficial to her current role. To unwind, she enjoys travelling, reading, running and Pilates.

Catriona Grimes

Working in senior administrative roles and office management for many years in Ireland and the UK, Catriona Grimes brings a wealth of experience to John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors. A move back home to Wexford from the UK after 8 years, meant her leaving her role as a medical secretary in a practice with over 40,000 patients and joining John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors as part of the Reception team. Catriona's experience in the medical world has enhanced her natural traits of care and kindness and these traits balanced with her efficiency and ability to organise, ensures that she delivers a high standard of service to clients at all times. Catriona also provides administrative support to a busy team. In her free time, she enjoys nothing more that spending time with friends and family and walking with her dogs on one of Wexford's many beautiful beaches.

Gemma Murphy Bennett

Gemma Murphy Bennett is a Legal Receptionist at John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors. She started her career in hospitality almost 20 years ago and continued in this industry until she took up her position in John A. Sinnott's in 2019. Gemma's skills from her former career are now inherent in her personality. This is evident from her every encounter with clients and colleagues - a positive attitude, meticulous care and genuine empathy all come naturally to her. These traits ensure first-rate customer service for all clients from their initial interaction with the company. Gemma is responsible too for providing support to a busy team and carries out many of the administrative duties of the company. In her free time, she likes nothing more than spending time with her two children and loves to travel at every opportunity.

Hanna Dudziak Dunne

Hanna joined the team as a Legal Secretary at John A. Sinnott Solicitors in September 2015. Her first experience of the legal world was in 2004 when she secured a position in a solicitors' office in Cork. She was instantly exhilarated by the buzz of a legal practice and immediately knew that law was the career for her. She then set about gaining a qualification. As a move to Wexford was imminent, Hanna enrolled in the Wexford Campus of IT Carlow and qualified with a Diploma in Legal Studies in 2007. Throughout her studies, she continued to work as a legal secretary and so, gained valuable, practical experience along the way. At John A. Sinnott Solicitors, she specialises in property matters. She assists with property sales and purchases, leases, residential and commercial mortgages, site and farm transfers, commercial transactions and lettings of agricultural land. Hanna is fluent in both Polish and English and is available to assist clients and take appointments in both languages. To unwind, Hanna enjoys running and reading.

Jason Dunne

Jason Dunne commenced working with John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors in 2005. He joined the firm as a Legal Executive and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. Jason was quick to establish himself within the Company and to establish a reputation of sincerity and tenacity amongst his local and national client base. His areas of practice include wills, probate, taxation, resolution of family disputes, enduring power of attorney, ward of court applications and conveyancing. Jason is co-author of "Inheritance and Succession, the Complete Irish Guide", by Liberties Press, 2008 and also "Make Your Will" in 2009.

Jean Murphy

Jean Murphy joined John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors in 1999 and having gained extensive experience, quickly became knowledgeable in many areas of the law. In the early stages of her career, she began specialising in conveyancing and is now highly regarded as an accomplished Conveyancer in all legal aspects of property transactions. She assists with property sales and purchases, leases, residential and commercial mortgages, site and farm transfers, commercial transactions and lettings of agricultural land. She is renowned for her efficiency in bringing such property transactions to completion. Jean enjoys power walking and participates in many charitable runs. To relax, she attends weekly meditation classes.

John G. Murphy

John G. Murphy commenced working for John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors in 1980 and progressed to Principal in 1992. His vision for this renowned firm of solicitors was to progress the company to meet the demands of a dynamic market, whilst remaining true to the company core values and the legacies of his 4 predecessors. John is known as a good ‘story-teller', which helps to explain complex situations to his clients. It is his natural ability to relate to people, their individual circumstances and to foresee outcomes that is integral to the success of the business. John determines the ethos of the company in this way and others follow his example. This 'ease of communication' has led to John being regularly invited to national and regional radio shows and he is a regular contributor to South East Radio. His extensive client base spans the country including significant business in Wexford and Dublin, comprising private clients, business and State sectors. He handles extensive areas of law.

Kamila Morawska

Kamila Morawska is a Legal Secretary at John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors. Having joined the team as Legal Receptionist in Summer 2018, her zeal and ambition to progress became immediately apparent. She has taken the first steps towards qualification as a solicitor by progressing through the Law Society of Ireland examination programme that must be successfully completed to qualify for entry to Blackhall Place. In 2015, she graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology as a Bachelor of Law with First Class Honours. She was then accepted to Trinity College, Dublin and qualified with a Masters in Law (Honours). Kamila's wealth of legal knowledge, along with her determination and persistence are qualities that contribute to her success in her current role. This determination is particularly apparent in her litigation work. She also works as part of the wills and probate team. In her free time, she enjoys photography and finds plenty of opportunity thanks to Wexford's scenic coastline, to pursue this interest.

Karen O'Sullivan

Karen O' Sullivan works as part of the Litigation Team at John A. Sinnott Solicitors and also provides administrative support in other areas. Her previous experience within both the real estate and hospitality industries has enhanced her traits of practical efficiency and empathy. These are traits obvious in her current role and are brought to the fore when looking after clients facing difficult circumstances and contentious cases. Karen qualified with a Beauty Diploma from Cork College of Commerce. After 3 years of working in a management position in this field in Melbourne, Australia, she made a move into the world of real estate. She spent 5 years working in property management, also in Melbourne. A move back home afforded her the opportunity to chose between remaining within the business sector or returning to the hospitality industry. She chose the former. In her free time, Karen enjoys reading, walking and hiking and likes to travel at every opportunity.

Kathryn O Dowd

Kathryn O'Dowd brings over 30 years of hands-on legal experience to John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors and has been working with the company since 1986. She now specialises in litigation cases, particularly on the sensitivities and trauma associated with personal injury actions in the Circuit Court and High Court. She also assists clients in land disputes, house defects and will disputes etc. and defends Circuit Court and High Court cases for insurance companies. In these areas, Kathryn is renowned as a pro-active and energetic legal representative who constantly moves a case forward to achieve the best result for her client. Kathryn also deals with many aspects of conveyancing, principally in the areas of farming and agricultural land. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys attending the theatre, walking and reading.

Laura Breen

Laura Breen has many years' experience in administrative roles within the retail and legal sectors. This experience highlighted her skills as a highly organised, practical person with an ability to respond efficiently and appropriately to all situations. It also reinforced her realisation that a legal career was the path she wanted to pursue. She is now a Legal Secretary at John A Sinnott Solictors and supports the Wills and Probate team. Laura has a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Literature and completed a Post Grad in Marketing. In her spare time she loves to swim and relax with a yoga session.

Tony Nolan

Tony Nolan has been part of the team at John A. Sinnott & Co. Solicitors since 1980. As Office Manager, he takes care of all financial, and many administrative and I.T. matters for the firm and plays a strong supporting role in the general running of the business. He is a member of the Institute of Legal Accountants of Ireland and is highly respected for his knowledge of solicitors' accounts procedures and regulations. In his spare time he enjoys gardening , walking his dog, theatre and cinema.
