John Tierney began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York wherein he was promoted to Trial Assignment Part I (TAP I) leader and then to the position of Designated Felony Liaison for Juvenile Offenders. Milagros "Mily" C. Alvarez is a person who believes in justice and takes her duty to her clients seriously. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, she and her family fled Cuba arriving in the United States at the age of three. She was primarily raised in the City of Elizabeth in a working class Cuban family. Her parents worked several jobs in order to pay for her Catholic School education. She learned her strong work ethic and the meaning of loyalty and honor from her parents. Milagros admired the courage and tenacity of her family who arrived in this country with only the clothes on their backs. Her family learned English, learned the ways of Capitalism and after years of hard work and countless hours her family became business owners. The importance of higher education was always instilled in her from an early age.
