Chez-Paree McNeal

Chez-Paree is our Team Accountant who has worked in a wide range of accounting and finance roles, starting as a staff accountant, working upwards then moving into non profit financial analysis. She has been meeting the financial management needs of corporations and non profits for a number of years. Chez-Paree prides herself in accurately processing and presenting transactional data, while providing in-depth financial analysis. Chez-Paree is a certified QuickBooks advisor and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University. She is passionate about serving non-profit clients and her motto is: "We're big enough to serve you, small enough to know you."

Heather Aucoin

Our Senior Accountant Heather brings over 7 years of progressive accounting experience to our clients. She provides financial management services including account reconcialtions, projections, financial statement preparations, grant/funder reporting, audit preparations, and AP/AR/payroll processing. Heather's success in client management is based on her understanding of our clients and her ability to proactively meet their financial and accounting needs. Heather is a highly meticulous person with a passion for analyzing financial data. Our clients love her positive energy and tireless dedication to their success.

Jo-Anne Williams Barnes

Our Founder, Jo-Anne Williams Barnes, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) holding a Master's of Science in Accounting (MSA) and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Baltimore and is a seasoned accounting professional with several years of experience in the field of managing financial records for non-profits, small, medium, and large businesses. Jo-Anne is a certified Sage Intacct Accounting and Implementation Specialist, a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, an AICPA Not-for-Profit Certificate II holder, and Standard for Excellence Licensed Consultant. Additionally, Jo-Anne is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), and Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (GWSCPA) where she continues to keep abreast on the latest industry trends and changes.

Lesley Tweedie

Lesley brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and nonprofit program management. She is a certified Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist and a certified Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist. She is well versed in fiscal management of organizations, assisting with system conversations, audit preparations and General Ledger maintenance. Lesley places great emphasis on helping our clients stay compliant with regulations and established policies. Her goal is to maintain financial records in excellent shape for audits, board meetings, strategic planning or any other business purpose.

Theressa brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the team with over seven of them dedicated to the nonprofit arena. As an executive level professional, she blends her passion for social impact with sound business acumen to lead nonprofits and her team to success. From establishing and evolving strategies and competencies to optimizing fiscal practices, she leverages a holistic approach to organizational development assisting nonprofits to build and enhance infrastructures. Theressa's specialties include financial management, strategic planning, grants management, leadership coaching, and budget management.

Tyria Hall
