JOINK - Key Persons
Brian is the Connectivity Manager at Joink. He joined Joink in 2004. In his time at Joink, he has served the organization as Network Administrator and Connectivity Manager. Prior to joining Joink, Brian worked as a subcontractor to Joink, performing wireless installations and performing tower climbing. Brian's focus at Joink is managing all aspects of the day-to-day technical operations of the Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) network and performing all day-to-day maintenance on the core network including central office patching. Brian has more than twenty years of experience in information technology services and support. Brian oversees six direct reports and one indirect report. Brian attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Photography. He has significant experience providing support to Higher Education, particularly in the deployment of new technology, computer repair, and all aspects of network infrastructure. Brian is a certified competent climber and Cambium ePMP expert. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his family.
Jackie McDonald is the VP of Operations at Joink. She joined Joink in 2012. In her time at Joink, she has served the organization as an Implementation Coordinator and Client Services Operations Manager. Today, as the VP of Operations, she is responsible for human resources, organizational policies, and development of internal processes. Jackie oversees eight direct reports and six indirect reports. She attended Indiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Insurance and Risk Management. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family and growing her MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schooler's) group.
Josh has been with Joink since April of 2004. He is a graduate of Purdue University's School of Management in West Lafayette, IN where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Managements with minors in MIS and Finance. Josh began his career at Joink as the VP of Technology after integrating his IT consulting business into Joink. Prior to joining Joink, Josh served as a vendor to Joink, consulting on matters including business management software and network architecture. Josh has held various industry designations from manufacturers such as ESI, Cisco, Microsoft, and VMware. Josh has been instrumental in Joink's growth, leading all acquisitions as well as organic growth in providing new offerings in all four divisions - including connectivity, hosting, IT professional services, and managed services.
Keith Carter, CPA / CGMA, began his career in 1994 with a public accounting firm (currently CLA) before he become the Chief Accounting Officer of a private and non-profit conglomerate of long-term healthcare companies that raised $500 million in equity and convention debt / tax-exempt bond debt. Keith later transitioned back to Kemper CPA Group LLP (a CPA firm ranked in Accounting Today's Top 100) where he was a partner for 18 years. While with Kemper, Keith developed a niche of providing virtual CFO and Complete Accounting Outsourcing services to small and mid-sized entities across the Midwest. He was also the engagement partner for many attestation engagements with clients in the construction and manufacturing industries. Both industries are very relevant to the work performed by Joink. Keith joined Joink in 2023 as the Chief Accounting Officer.
Lisa Lively is the Controller at Joink. She joined Joink in 2005 in the role of Assistant Controller. Today, as Controller, she is responsible for cash management, payroll, the general ledger, and financial statement preparation. Lisa attended Ivy Tech and earned a degree in Accounting. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Todd joined Joink in December of 2021. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In his current role as VP of Sales and Marketing Todd oversees all sales and marketing activity related to Managed Services, fiber installations, and residential consumer services. Prior to joining Joink, he performed telecommunications consulting at the MSO level providing sales and marketing solutions focused on customer acquisition.
