JOLA is a Landscape Architecture firm located in Gainesville, Florida since 1999. The firm Principal Jackie Owens, graduated from the University of Florida College of Design, Construction & Planning, with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. Ms. Owens is currently licensed in the State of Florida. Current associates include a Landscape Architect, Project Manager/Landscape Designer, Office Manager, and one CAD Technician/Graphic Artist... JOLA designs spaces where life happens: playgrounds, schools, parks, plazas, corporate campuses, streetscapes, communities, eco-resorts and cemeteries. Using simple geometry and natural materials, our designs engage the senses while promoting contemplation, relaxation, creativity and play. We specialize in integrating landscape, architecture, site engineering and infrastructure to produce a multi-functional design addressing the needs of all users, while conserving the natural resources to the greatest extent possible.
