There was a very short article in the New York Times on how Trump's most loyal supporters were responding to his felony conviction. Without a doubt, it confirmed that the devout MAGA types are cultists. Basic MAGA fact: no matter what Trump does, the MAGA devotees will believe any and all the bullshit that he spews. Trying to convince them that they are only screwing themselves by supporting Trump is an exercise in futility. Let's hope he doesn't tell them to drink the bleach laced kool aide... So what is the answer to fending off the Barbarians at the Gate. Well for one, stop giving Trump a podium to spew his lies. Provide minimal coverage for his campaign.
