The United States clearly has the best judicial system in the world and, in many cases, court is the best venue for dispute resolution. Often, alternative dispute resolution is the better choice... Mediation and arbitration tend to be less intimidating processes than litigation for the parties and for their attorneys. The less formal nature of these alternative methods of dispute resolution allows the parties to arrive at creative solutions to their problems that might not be available to them in a formal court proceeding.
