Heather's career in the insurance industry commenced in South Africa in 1983, initially as an administrator where she developed her admin skills and gained great insight and knowledge in the field of general insurance. Heather's long-term experience and knowledge make her a great addition to the JRI Commercial Broker Support team.
John is the Director of JRI Limited and JRI Life Limited and actively works across both businesses providing an all-encompassing service to his clients. Having been in the industry since 1977 he has attained considerable knowledge & experience which is evident in the advice he provides, and the respect afforded to his clients. Matt is a born and bred Cantabrian who operates JRI Limited's Christchurch Branch in addition to looking after clients Nationwide. Matt has over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, initially spending 5 years in Claims as a Consultant before progressing to Senior Consultant and subsequently Team Leader. Matt further progressed his career making a move into a Broking role; utilising his knowledge of the claims processes and insurer wordings allows Matt to provide his clients with a high level of service. Rebecca joined JRI in 2019 after working in the travel and tourism industry for 17 years in Australia.
Initially starting in our domestic lines team, Rebecca became a Commercial Broker support before taking over our Commercial Claims in 2021.
Rebecca's time spent as a Domestic Lines broker and managing Commercial Claims has developed Rebecca's product knowledge and problem solving skills, resulting in a natural progression to Commercial Broker in 2023.
Throughout Rebecca's time at JRI she has developed strong relationships with Insurers and Clients and is focussed on delivering excellent and timely service to her clients while continuing to support Commercial Claims.
Rebecca is based in our Christchurch Office and continues to support clients nationwide.

As JRI's Office Manager, Toni has a vital role in ensuring the office is operating efficiently and compliantly, this involves a strong focus in the areas of Credit Control, HR and Compliance. Toni achieves this by working closely with staff members individually and collectively, in addition to keeping abreast of relevant legislative changes and liaising with industry experts.
Toni has acquired strong organisational skills and attention to detail through her extensive background in office and event management, administration, and more recently within the insurance industry as a Regional Administration Manager, providing management and operational support.
Toni's ethos is that good customer outcomes are always at the forefront.
Vanessa has over 15 years' experience in various sectors of the South African insurance market, and has come back to the insurance industry after taking a 3 year break from work, following her family's immigration to New Zealand.
Vanessa is a Commercial Broker in our New Plymouth Office, where she is focused on ensuring that our client's needs are met in a timely & accurate manner. Vanessa prides herself on excellent customer service, accuracy & efficiency in all tasks she performs.
