Peter Munkenbeck, who graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Public and International Affairs, earned his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, and was admitted to the bar in Massachusetts. Susan Stockard retired from Maloney Properties, Inc., where she was a partner in the property management company specializing in elderly housing and resident services. In addition to serving on the Board of Just A Start, Susan served as President of the Board of FOCUS - a non-profit overseeing supportive services in housing, including FOCUS@114, a home in Somerville for 15 young women aging out of foster care. Susan is a founding member and current president of a housing cooperative in Cambridge formed in 1973. She resides in Cambridge and is active in the Old Cambridge Baptist Church.

Tara Dendy has lived in Cambridge for over ten years raising her children in a Just A Start community. Tara is the manager of state-funded individual homelessness resources for the commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was previously the Program Director for Community Cooks and was responsible for overseeing 800 volunteers who prepared food to vulnerable neighbors seeking assistance from human service agencies, students working to improve their lives in after-school programs, and families struggling with food insecurity.
