George Kimmerle

George Kimmerle has more than 40 years of diverse industry experience. A registered architect and professional planner, George is also an adjunct at both NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate and Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Urban Planning and Public Policy. At the latter, he has completed his PhD, focusing his dissertation on urban redevelopment practice and policy, with a special concentration on community building, branding and institutional realignment for economic development. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, Morris County Chamber of Commerce, and Society for College and University Planning. George earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Washington University School of Architecture, master's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan School of Architecture and his doctorate (PhD) from Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Urban Planning and Public Policy.

Manuel Sia

As the director of Kimmerle Newman Architect's studio, Manuel manages and directs teams of Project Managers, Project Designers, Project Architects. A graduate of University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Manuel is proud of his 35-years of experience in architecture and design. His work ranges geographically from coast to coast in the United States, and includes work in Mexico City, Seoul, and Santiago. Manuel has particular experience with flagship retail requirements, national retail requirements, and owner capital improvements. He has in experience in client communications, coordinated with consultants and team partners. At all times during the life of a project, Manuel stays attuned to client objectives and helps achieve them on an organizational level. In addition to his proven ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion, he is proficient in AutoCAD and knowledge in REVIT. Manuel's 3-D sketches, renderings and technical details drawings are impeccable. His design acuity and technical know-how allows him to provide advanced quality control. He uses his passion, skills and wealth of experience to lead and initiate staff mentoring and training with a focus on quality improvement of design and contract documents.

Patrick Luzzi - Managing Director

Patrick is a practiced real estate professional who serves as general manager and leader of strategic real estate assignments for the firm's corporate and health clients. He applies his more than 25 years of diverse expertise in overseeing Kimmerle Group's daily business operations, as well as driving business development and strategic growth efforts for the firm's healthcare clients. Prior to joining Kimmerle Group, he was broker of record and director of operations for CBRE's Northern New Jersey office, and has previous experience in leasing management and property management for office, industrial and commercial real estate portfolios. He is a graduate of Montclair State University with a bachelor's degree in political science.

Paul Newman - VP

A partner and vice president of Kimmerle Newman Architects, Paul's tenure with the firm dates from 1986, a term of over 30 years. In that period he has led the KNA team in all aspects of architectural and interior planning assignments and has been pivotal in establishing the firm's reputation as a full service sole source for clients' needs. Paul is a resident of Verona, and he and his wife Julia and their two daughters are active outdoor enthusiasts. Paul's harrowing tales as a freestyle rock and ice climber are infamous. He is also active as a volunteer EMT. A graduate of NJIT with a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Landscape Design, Paul continues his association as a visiting critic and a member of the Deans Council. His continuing education experience includes multiple courses at Harvard's GSA. He has also taught at NYU Schack Real Estate Institute and at the BOMA/BOMI Institute. He is a member of the AIA, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

Richard Jecmen

Mr. Jecmen has more than 16 years of project experience in all aspects of design, construction documentation, and construction administration. His background includes healthcare, corporate, and educational projects. He also has valuable experience with forensic building investigations, historic preservation and code compliance. His skill in the project planning, programming, and construction phases of our work is instrumental to a project's success as it moves through construction to completion.

Robert Kimmerle - CFO

As the CFO of Kimmerle Group, Robert is focused on the financial program supporting the company's development efforts, including financial modeling, debt and equity financing, as well as general financial management and administration of the entity. Robert comes most recently from Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where he held roles of increasing responsibility during his ten-year tenure with the company, culminating in the position of Vice President. At ADP Robert was the financial controller of ADP's corporate real estate and facilities management function, as well as some of ADP's international operations. Robert developed and presented business cases for a series of strategic real estate portfolio decisions, both in the US and internationally, including lease renewals, relocations, building purchases and sales, sale/leasebacks, and consolidations, in addition to day-to-day financial management of a complex multi-million-dollar operating budget. He also spearheaded the creation of a centralized corporate facilities management function, as well as the successful transition of FM services to a third-party provider model. Other highlights of Robert's tenure include leadership of the successful site selection and location launch process for ADP's Romanian subsidiary and the opening of several new strategic US locations.

Taryn Petrela

Taryn brings a diverse background of experience in design and construction, with experience ranging from industrial, transportation, corporate offices & welfare, master planning & programming, and infrastructure projects. Her depth of experience in sustainability and flood resiliency give her a unique skill-set for projects during each phase of design and construction. Taryn's work in infrastructure spans across the transit sector, including Amtrak, Metro North, FDOT, New Jersey Transit, NYSDOT, SEPTA, and the Porth Authority of New York and New Jersey. A graduate of Rutgers and the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Taryn leads projects from concept to completion with an instinctive attention to client needs.

William Kimmerle

William has been with Kimmerle Group for more than a decade in varying capacities ranging from senior designer to senior project manager. Within Kimmerle Group, he contributes a leading voice to the firm's development, and corporate and institutional practices; leads the firm's New York City Urban Studio offering; and has led the expansion of the firm's procurement practice, Workspace, since 2011. He earned a bachelor's degree in international studies with a minor in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and his master's degree in architecture as a graduate fellow at the Rhode Island School of Design. He has experience with traveling studios in India and Turkey, and assistantships in historic property analysis and non-profit organization operations.

Xin "Cindy" Cui

Cindy is a LEED-accredited professional who specializes in new construction, major renovations and has led the firm in finishing several LEED buildings. Her work experience spans planning, architectural, urban design and interior design. She has worked in Europe, Asia and the United States on diverse projects ranging from hospital campus planning to small town redevelopment planning, office building design and construction management to high rise, mixed-use office towers. Cindy is a graduate of the HeBei Institute of Technology in mainland China with a bachelor's degree in architecture, and Kent State University with both bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture.
