As a natural organizer, Alicia brings an array of experience to the role from her background in hotels, marketing, and administration.
Originally from the UK, Alicia came to Canada in 2016 and, well, fell in love with the mountains and decided to stay. She loves to travel and spend time outdoors, and is passionate about personal development, equality, and wellness.
Alvaro's interests in the environment and sustainability led to his career path in green buildings. Currently, Alvaro is a member of the Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and Building Commissioning Association.
Outside of work, Alvaro enjoys spending time with his family, playing various musical instruments, and also planning and completing cycle tours with his wife. Together they have cycle toured over 15,000 km through various countries.
Daniel is committed to providing a synergistic approach for the advancement of sustainable design at both the buildings and community.
He has a strong understanding of the integrated design process and believes this holistic process is ideal in aiding a project team to fulfill their sustainability goals.
Daniel has a proven track record as a strong resource for implementing sustainable design practices and has extensive project experience utilizing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System at every level.
Daniel has consulted on dozens of LEED for New Construction (LEED-NC), LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) and LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) projects including the BC Oil & Gas Commission's Victoria Office LEED Platinum Certified and Farmer Construction Head Office, Victoria, LEED Platinum Certified. In addition, Daniel has served as the Sustainability/LEED coordinator for multiple phases of Dockside Green, a 4.6 hectare mixed-use development in Victoria, British Columbia and for the 2010 Athletes Village (renamed The Village at False Creek), a 7 hectare mixed use development in South East False Creek, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Jamie's passion for sustainable design and mechanical systems helps his focus on ensuring quality and environmentally friendly buildings.
Having recently earned his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Jamie continues to advance his hands-on experience to complement his technical knowledge. From working with both the commissioning and balancing teams, he enjoys being involved in the various stages of projects.
In his spare time, Jamie loves to adventure the outdoors in the form of skiing, biking, hiking and more. He also pursues his love for music at any chance he can.

Jeet's commitment to sustainability has led him to become the chair of the Emerging Green Professionals.
With his Masters in Electrical Engineering, Jeet brings an in-depth knowledge of electrical systems to the team. As a Commissioning Services Consultant, he is involved in all phases of our projects and will provide support in completing field review and functional performance testing.
Staying fit and active in both mind and body is essential to Jeet. Breakdancing, ‘hustling' (partner dancing), gymnastics (the rings), power-lifting, and reading existential philosophy are a few examples of his passion.
Joe Stano received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and subsequently completed his graduate degree in Civil Engineering from UBC.
With his focus on sustainable infrastructure, he accepted a position at the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) where he became an expert in LEED Canada and was selected to lead the development of LEED Canada for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance. He has been a member of the LEED team at the CaGBC and a consultant on a multitude of LEED projects. Joe's responsibilities have included coordination of the LEED certification process, assuring that the integrity of LEED was maintained in reviews, providing technical support to LEED projects in each building sector, developing energy measurement and verification plans, and providing LEED project management and coordination services. Joe is a certified measurement and verification professional through the association of energy engineers.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys hiking, snowshoeing and snowboarding in the mountains, playing any racquet sport, socking dingers on the baseball field, and simply being outside.

With a solid background in mechanical engineering, Lucas is passionate about advancing his expertise in HVAC systems and contributing to the development of green buildings.
After spending two years working in HVAC related R&D in China, he moved to Canada to pursue a master's degree in Energy Management. Following his graduation, he continued his professional journey joining the team at Kane, with a focus on testing and balancing air and water systems.
Committed to a healthy lifestyle, Lucas stays active through regular gym sessions and enjoys cooking nutritious meals. In his downtime, he's a fan of detective TV shows - mostly to spot the plot holes and inconsistencies that others might miss!
Luciana's passion for sustainability led her to the Graduate Diploma in Green Business Management and Sustainability program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in her native country of Brazil, Luciana moved to Vancouver to focus on her commitment to the environment. She has recently completed her Master of Arts in Management in Sustainability Management and also attained the designation of LEED AP Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C).
Luciana has a true passion for her work and is a dedicated and conscientious member of the team. Her responsibilities include providing sustainability coordination and project management services on many of our LEED projects.

Stephen focuses on ensuring safe and healthy building conditions, including high indoor air quality.
Stephen brings well over a decade of Canadian and International experience in the HVAC and Mechanical sector. Beginning as a Refrigeration Technician in his native country of Ireland, he soon became part of an Engineering team providing commissioning, balancing, and cleanrooms to major European pharmaceutical companies. Upon relocating to Canada, he worked as a HVAC balancer and was Lead Foreman for a Balancing Team.
What started out, back in 2011, as a one year adventure in Canada hit a snag when he met a girl and the rest, as they say, is history! Although not part of the ownership of Kane Consulting, Stephen on occasion has benefitted from having the same name as the company!
Sujay has a diverse engineering background, having spent nearly a decade as a marine engineer on ships and a petroleum engineer on oil rigs in West Texas.
Following that, he transitioned to building commissioning in Vancouver for around five years. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience to his work. In his free time, Sujay enjoys gaming on his console and taking walks along the seawall with his partner, their infant daughter Anya, and their dog Rolla.
As Kane's Office Manager, Tanya brings over 20 years of administrative experience in Office Management, Accounting, and Bookkeeping.
Tanya is responsible for the overall coordination of a broad range of services/resources that allow the organization to operate efficiently. She assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; oversees the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices within the company; and she maintains accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and monthly billing.
Tanya has also taught yoga and leverages her knowledge in wellness to support employee health and maintain positive environments. Away from work, Tanya enjoys biking, exploring the city, music, and of course, yoga!
