Mark E. Karolczyk is the principal of Karolczyk Law Group, PLC. Mr. Karolczyk has provided legal services to business for over twenty-five years, including as an associate and partner at one of Arizona's largest law firms, as a principal of small boutique law firms, and as Vice President and General Counsel for a consulting firm serving Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Karolczyk has been a frequent speaker at seminars for attorneys focused on business transactions, including the organization and structuring of business entities, corporate governance, the acquisition and sale of businesses, and legal ethics in business transactions. Mr. Karolczyk received his undergraduate degree in Corporate Finance in 1979 from the College of Business Administration at the University of Alabama, summa cum laude. He received his law degree in 1982 from the Arizona State University College of Law, cum laude, where he also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Arizona State Law Journal. From 1982 through 1993, Mr. Karolczyk practiced law with Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, PLC in Phoenix, Arizona, as an Associate Attorney (1982-1986) and as a Partner (1986-1993). Since 1993, Mr. Karolczyk has practiced law as a principal in small law firms with practices concentrated in the representation of business, except for a period of approximately one-and-a-half years in 2002 and 2003, during which he served as Vice President and General Counsel of Six Sigma Academy, a management consulting firm that provides process improvement consulting services to large corporations.
