KAY BROMERT

Kay Bromert is a Certified Music Arranger, a designation given by Sweet Adelines International based on meeting the highest standard of excellence in arranging songs in four-part harmony, barbershop style. Out of more than 20,000 members in this world-wide organization, fewer than 25 are Certified Music Arrangers!... Kay has a degree in music and spent several years as a music teacher. She is a Certified Music Arranger (CMA) in Sweet Adelines and is currently serving as the Moderator for the Arranger Certification Program Coordinators Committee, an International appointment. She has also been a church pianist and organist for many years, and she was a Sweet Adeline chorus director for about four years, including a year directing a multi-lingual prospective chorus in Peru, South America. She has been a Sweet Adeline since 1976 and has been arranging almost that long! She lives in Urbandale, Iowa, and currently sings baritone with the Kansas City Chorus.
