Anna is a graduate of the law school of the University of Thrace, where she obtained her LL.B degree, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary, University of London, where she graduated with a distinction as well as top of her class. She has a solid academic background in the area of Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law and closely follows a variety of related legal matters, including online defamation, online contracting, e-commerce disputes, data protection, online service providers' liability and intellectual property. Anna has been with Kelemenis & Co since October 2010. She acts for corporate clients on commercial and corporate law matters and advises on regulatory and compliance issues in various sectors, ranging from tourism and maritime to medical companies, energy and banking industries. Athanasia is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Athens, where she obtained her LL.B. She had worked with Kelemenis & Co back in 2005 until 2011 as head of the litigation department. Before first joining Kelemenis & Co in 2005, she had worked as corporate counsel with Athens Olympic Broadcasting SA, the radio & TV services coordinator for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She left Kelemenis & Co. to take up a post in the legal department of a large Greek company focusing on the sale and distribution of motor vehicles and returned in late 2018. Her current focus is on general corporate and commercial matters, enforcement and commercial litigation. Athanasia is authorized to appear before the Supreme Court of Greece. Ioanna has been with the firm since 2004 and heads its Corporate & Commercial Group. She holds a LL.B. from the University of Athens and a LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol. Ioanna specializes in M&A, where she has built a strong background over the past few years in dealing with multi-million acquisitions in various sectors (e.g. tourism, energy and commercial real estate), for which she has dealt with demanding due diligence exercises, restructuring and refinancing projects, and numerous corporate governance matters and shareholding arrangements.
