The Keystone Wood Products Association (KWPA) strives to strengthen and expand the base of lumber and wood products manufacturers in the Central Pennsylvania region in order to maintain and enhance the industry's competitive position in today's global economy... KWPA has a large goal of maintaining Pennsylvania's rich history in the wood products industry for generations to come. We take logical and feasible steps to meet this goal. By staying active and visible in our community, we are changing people's perspectives about the wood products industry and generating interest in career paths. By being supportive to our members, we are creating strong relationships with those who are already making the industry successful... The KWPA was formed in 2006 as result of two separate state agency initiatives. The Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corporation (CPWDC) had received funding from the PA Department of Labor and Industry to formalize a lumber and wood industry partnership..
