Cynthia joined Kinman Associates in 1999. Having been a student of the "Kinman Philosophies" she is a testimant to its success in the real world application in the landscape design build industry. Her dedication to landscape architect education is extraordinary.
Cynthia has made considerable contributions to educational landscape through the Kinman Institute. As co-founder she recognized the genious behind Gary's own Design Build success and and has been instrumental in bringing this program to the industry.
She is credited in taking the mystery of "Gary's Art Form" and translating it into a format from which others in the industry can learn.
Previously, Cynthia had eleven years of landscape design build experience in the Michigan market, including the restoration of the Dodge Mansion Rose Garden. She also produced and appeared in weekly gardening segments for local and national TV shows, including a guest appearance with Martha Stewart. She has lectured and taught at School Craft and other community colleges.
Having been transformed by the Kinman Process herself, Cynthia's greatest hope is that this program will be a catalyst in unlocking the potential in all Landscape Design Build professionals, resulting in better projects and happier clients and an educational landscape for landscape architect education..

Davis Sydnor is Ohio State's professor of Urban Forestry in their School of Natural Resources and is the professor of Ecosystems Management. Dr. Sydnor comes to the Institute having been used regularly by Kinman Associates in various plant condition work and consultation and brings a unique blend of insight and knowledge to the Institute. Davis Sydnor's deep experience in a large array of clients over the years include not only plant condition work, but landscape maintenance and assessment to expert witness work in our field and related disciplines. The Institute is honored with Dr. Sydnor's national and international standing and know that his insights will prove extremely valuable to the educational participants of the Institute.
Professor or Marketing at Ohio State University, cited as "Marketer of the Year" by the American Marketing Association and named one of the "top speakers" in the lecture circuit by the New York Times. Roger continues to be quoted in many publications each year including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week and many others. . He is considered to be the "Father of Consumer Behavior" by many in business and industry and is the author of many books including From Mind to Market and his industry watershed work Consumer Behavior now in its 9th edition.

In his 40 year history, Gary Kinman has produced some of the most prestigious residential landscape design build installations in the nation. With the Kinman Institute, and his landmark course Focus on Design/Build Professionalism, Gary is on a mission to "Redefine the Landscape Design Build Industry." His seminars are designed not only for the working landscape professional, but also starting a landscape business and a landscape architecture career.
From his base in England, John Brookes has impacted the entire world of Landscape Design--literally. As a world renown author of books with outstanding photography showing his designs in actual life (including Room Outside and The Small Garden), John brings a wealth of experience to the Kinman Institute and its landscape practitioners participating in the revolutionary educational curriculum of the Institute. While John runs courses in garden design at Demans in England, he also has a very busy international speaking schedule. We are honored at John's willingness to lend his shoulder in helping our industry set and maintain standards to delight our customers.
