Dana Bassore Wilders

Dana graduated from the University of Missouri Law School in 2007. Prior to law school, Dana attended the University of Central Missouri, where she earned a degree in Political Science. Dana has been practicing in the area of consumer bankruptcy since 2007. She joined Krigel & Krigel, P.C., in 2009, and continues to concentrate her practice in the area of bankruptcy. Dana routinely represents individuals in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases in Missouri and Kansas and represents creditors in both states as well. Dana is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and in the United States District Courts of the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas.

Erlene W. Krigel

Erlene W. Krigel is one of the managing partners of Krigel & Krigel, P.C. She heads the bankruptcy department, overseeing attorneys who handle Chapter 7, 11, and 13 matters for both debtors and creditors. In February 1985, she was appointed by the United States Department of Justice to serve as a Chapter 7 panel trustee in the Western District of Missouri, becoming the first woman appointed as a trustee in the district. She is regularly appointed to approximately 600 cases per year. In September 1996, she was appointed by the United States Trustee Office to serve as a Chapter 12 panel trustee in the Western District of Missouri, where she is also a regular speaker at bankruptcy seminars. Erlene Krigel was admitted to the Missouri Bar in September 1979. She is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and for the District of Kansas. She attended the University of Arizona for her undergraduate degree and earned her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. She serves on the Justice for All Committee for Legal Aid of Western Missouri and as a trustee on the Law Foundation board for the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

Florence Moxham

Florence joined Krigel & Krigel in 2018. She assists our attorneys and staff with administrative tasks and is our receptionist.

Ivan Nugent

Ivan is an experienced trial attorney and litigator. Ivan started his career as a public defender; ensuring that those who could not afford an attorney still had access to an advocate who cared about their issues. Ivan also represented the Kansas City Public Schools for 8 years. Ivan successfully defended KCPS in more than 13 jury trials. In addition to his courtroom advocacy, Ivan also counseled KCPS on various education and governmental related matters. As a trial attorney, Ivan has experience litigating contracts, employment, due process claims, student rights claims, parental rights disputes, local ordinances, statutory regulations, sovereign immunity, and matters involving tax incremental financing. The bulk of Ivan's trial experience is employment-related. Throughout 2014-2015 Ivan successfully defended KCPS in 6 straight jury trials. During Ivan's time in the private sector, he represented more school districts, including urban, rural, and suburban school districts. Ivan's experience representing school districts in educational, employment, and business-related matters; along with his trial experience, makes him a unique member of our team. Ivan is licensed in Missouri, Kansas, and the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas. A Kansas City native, Ivan attended Rockhurst University where he played collegiate basketball and earned a B.S.B.A. in finance and economics. Prior to attending law school, Ivan received his M.B.A. with a focus on management and marketing. Ivan's passion for education comes from his parents; both teachers. Ivan became an attorney to advocate for those whose voice is often not heard. Ivan has spent his career ensuring that everyone has access to an advocate willing to stand up for them.

Jamie has a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas and a Paralegal Studies Certificate from Rockhurst University. She has been a bankruptcy paralegal with the firm since 2011.

Jennifer L. Finch

Jennifer L. Finch attended Avila University for her undergraduate degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies. After spending her first year of law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she completed her legal education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she was recognized for outstanding service to the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. For more than 30 years, Jennifer has consulted with clients and helped them establish their personalized estate plans. She is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, where she still resides and is active in her neighborhood association. Jennifer has been a speaker at many churches and community organizations and is involved in the Volunteer Attorney Project with the office of Legal Aid of Western Missouri. She was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013 in KC Business Magazine. She is licensed by both Kansas and Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

Karen S. Rosenberg

Karen Schneider Rosenberg was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, where she earned a B.A. in History and her law degree. While in law school, Ms. Rosenberg was a member of the Missouri Law Review. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack Pritchard of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Ms. Rosenberg joined Krigel & Krigel, P.C. in 1986. She concentrates her practice in the area of adoptions, including private adoptions, agency adoptions, step-parent adoptions, interstate adoptions, second-parent adoptions, and same-sex adoptions. Her practice also includes matters involving assisted reproductive technology, including gestational and traditional surrogacy, egg donation, and embryo donation. She has been a speaker and presenter on various legal topics for adoption and infertility support groups. She is also co-author of "The Adoption Choice", an article that appeared in Missouri Medicine, a periodical for physicians and other medical professionals. Ms. Rosenberg is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois.

Lara Krigel Pabst

Lara pursued the law as a career for the simple reason that she likes helping people. As an attorney, she sees herself as a problem solver. She always keeps her client's goals at the forefront when consulting with and advocating for her clients. Lara focuses her practice on all aspects of employment law. She represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful discharge claims. Lara counsels clients on a variety of human-resources issues to assist them in preventing employment claims from arising. She works with businesses and non-profit organizations to develop personnel policies and employee handbooks, drafts and negotiates employment contracts, and assists clients in complying with state and federal employment laws. Lara also has extensive experience in advising clients on restrictive covenants, including non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements. Lara also acts as a third-party investigator for businesses and educational institutions. Lara has a detailed, nuanced approach to her investigations. She treats all individuals involved with dignity and respect. She works hard to make sure every individual involved feels heard. Lara works hard to ensure the process is unbiased, confidential, and that the outcome is fair.
