KIRBY & DEMAREST

Our Company was founded in 1973 by Dave Demarest as Demarest Associates, and we've been serving the Pacific Northwest Microelectronic community ever since! In the early days, Dave concentrated on the hybrid or "chip & wire" area of electronic assembly, and gradually added equipment and supplies for the PCB portion of the business. Major customers at the time, and still, include Boeing's Microelectronics Center, Sundstrand (now Honeywell), ICI (now Crane Interpoint), Tektronix, Intel, Micron, MCMS (now Plexus) and MSEI/Biotronik... In 1990 Steve Kirby joined Dave in the Portland office, and several years later took ownership as Dave enjoyed retirement. Steve added his name to the Company resulting in the current Kirby & Demarest moniker. Then in 1996 Alan Siebenthall joined the team adding unbridled enthusiasm and attention to detail to his customers requirements.
