Amanda Voss

Amanda graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She began her career in Kitchen and Bath Design in Indianapolis. Soon after, she moved to the Memphis area and has grown to love the city. Amanda loves meeting the people of Memphis, who are a true melting pot of the world, with the business and industry that the area offers. For more than 20 years, Amanda continues to provide a space that functions well with great attention to detail by listening to the customer's needs and wish list for their home. Her greatest satisfaction is hearing from her customers on how they enjoy the spaces she creates for years to come. In her spare time Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends. An avid sports fan, she is often found watching her two sons play baseball at CBU. Amanda enjoys exploring Memphis and takes advantage of all the city has to offer.

Ella Long

Job Titles:

Ella Long is a Design Assistant and Allied Member of ASID who appreciates every part of the design process and enjoys collaborating with others to bring design visions to life. Before joining Kitchen Unlimited, Ella studied Interior Design at The University of Alabama, graduating with a focus in Residential Design. With a background working in high end interiors & furnishings, she understands the importance of a space that is as functional as it is beautiful. Continuing education is very important to Ella in order to enhance her knowledge, keep current in design trends, and provide Kitchens Unlimited clients with the best service possible. When she's not working, Ella enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Memphis' cultural, art, and food scenes, as well as painting & traveling.

Joe Kassen

A native of Dallas, Texas, Joe Kassen moved to Memphis after graduating from Springhill College with a BS in Accounting. Since 1999, as general manager of Kitchens Unlimited, he has taken on the responsibilities of managing and supervising projects, coordinating and scheduling our many sub- contractors and communicating on a daily basis with our clients as well tending to the day to day operations of the business. Joe has put together a fabulous team at Kitchens Unlimited of designers, installers, vendors and tradespeople that work together to ensure that our clients receive the best finished product while trying to provide a great experience throughout the duration of the project. His patience and communication skills are used each day to guide the team so that client satisfaction is the end result. One might spot Joe driving around Memphis checking on our jobs to make sure things are running smoothly. Joe has made Memphis home and is constantly working to make Memphis a better place. As a member of the Summer Avenue Merchants Association, he is committed to revitalizing this once vibrant part of the city into a safe and relevant neighborhood for Memphians to live, work and shop. He has also volunteered at a neighborhood school, Cornerstone Prep, through his church and served on the Board of Directors of St. Agnes Academy- St. Dominic School as head of the Building and Grounds Committee for 6 years. Joe and his wife, Karen, live in East Memphis and have two sons who keep them very busy after work hours with school, social events, church, and sports. In his down time, he enjoys spending time on his porch, on the golf course and at the beach.

Karen Kassen

Karen Kassen is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer, member of the NKBA and an Allied member of ASID. She and her husband, Joe, purchased Kitchens Unlimited in 1998. A graduate of Auburn University, with a B.S. in Interiors and Housing, she has been practicing kitchen and bathroom design in Memphis for over 30 years. Her work has been both locally and nationally published in publications such as Memphis Magazine, Fix Magazine, Interiors, Custom Home, Kitchen and Bath Business, and Kitchen and Bath Design News. In 2009, one of her local projects was featured in a short story commercial on HGTV and DIY network. Karen has also been the recipient of several statewide and national design awards including placing in the Caesarstone Dream Design Competition as well as being a regional winner in the Sub Zero Kitchen Design Contest. Karen, the Principal designer at Kitchens Unlimited, leads the design team by providing knowledge that comes from experience in the business as well as emphasizing the importance of continuing education and staying current with the latest trends and products. She presents her clients thoughtfully designed spaces, and rooms that are classic and timeless using quality products. Karen welcomes working with other professionals in the field such as interior designers, architects, contractors and builders to provide the best support for their clients. When not working on kitchens and bathrooms, Karen enjoys playing tennis, attending her sons' sporting events, cooking, and vacationing with her family. She is a member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and also a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Memphis and served on the Board of Directors.

Susan DeHart

Susan really enjoys working in a passionate and caring environment of professionals. She has found her second home at Kitchens Unlimited. With 30 years of business management experience, she knows how to keep things organized. Her daily routine consist of accounting, purchasing, receiving, advertising and social media just to name a few. Native Memphian, she lives in Midtown and is happily married with one child. Her family spends time together dining, gardening and traveling.
