Klondike Farms is a cash grain and custom farming operation centered in Brooklyn, Wisconsin, owned by Kevin & Erika Klahn... Klondike Farms employs the use of many current technologies to increase efficiencies on the farm. Currently, mapping production through GPS yield monitors on all combines, which helps analyze varieties as well as production techniques. Grid samples (site specific soil sampling) help to determine where nutrients are needed, and utilize variable rate fertilizing to place those nutrients in the proper location. Strip till fertilize, which bands nutrients where the plant can make best use of them. Side dressing nitrogen to growing corn helps to time nitrogen application so that the nutrient is there when the plant needs them most... Our employees are a key cornerstone of our business.
