Joleen K. Youngers is a trial attorney and the owner of Youngers Law, PA. Her practice focuses on cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, civil rights, sexual abuse, discrimination, sexual harassment, and whistleblowing. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Youngers serves as a personal representative in multiple wrongful death claims as a guardian ad litem for children and incompetent persons in personal injury and civil rights litigation. Ms. Youngers has been selected to Super Lawyers for many consecutive years. She has been designated by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel as a Top One Percent Member. While Ms. Youngers spends most of her time litigating, she also frequently teaches trial advocacy and Continuing Legal Education courses for law students and trial lawyers. Ms. Youngers instructs in multiple public and private National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) trial practice and deposition skills classes each year, to include programs around the United States and in programs as far away as Japan. She often serves as an adjunct professor for the University of New Mexico School of Law trial advocacy program, working with students as both a coach and lecturer on trial skills. Ms. Youngers is a member of the board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association (NMTLA), and she chairs the NMTLA Annual Tort Seminar, which is a continuing legal education program for those in the legal field. Ms. Youngers is a tenacious litigator. She draws on breadth of legal knowledge and experience to evaluate cases and to present a clear and comprehensive strategy to seek justice. Ms. Youngers is charismatic and excels when thinking on her feet, which makes her formidable in a courtroom. Biography Julia Belt has worked as a paralegal for Joleen Youngers for since 2017. Prior to joining Youngers Law, PA, Julia graduated from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She accumulated several decades of experience with both small and large law firms. Julia primarily focuses on personal representative and guardian ad litem work with Youngers Law, PA. She draws on her intelligence, attention to detail, and extensive experience to provide organized and attentive service to Youngers Law clients. Julia lives with her retired husband on their family farm, and she enjoys tending to their horses, chickens, dogs, and cats.

Lisa Griego

Biography Lisa Griego has been Joleen Youngers' primary paralegal since 2012. She was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Currently, Lisa lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico with her husband, Drew, and their son, Elijah, who is in elementary school. Throughout her time at Youngers Law, PA, Lisa has worked hard to help our clients through difficult times. During her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling with Drew. Drew is an insurance agent, and he is also a musician with gigs all over the Southwest. On top of supporting Drew's ambitions, Lisa takes excellent care of her son while skillfully meeting her professional obligations. Lisa takes Elijah to many PGA (Professional Golf Association) Junior League events, and she picks him up every day after school. Overall, Lisa is an extremely valuable player both in our office and at home.

Maria Voyles-Aragon

Biography Maria joined the Youngers Law, PA, team in March of 2022. As an office administrator, Maria has kept our books and day-to-day office operations in good shape. Maria has thirty-five years of administrative experience. During her decade with the State of New Mexico as a Management Analyst, she saved the State of New Mexico a great deal of money by combining her accounting skills with database, statistical, and spreadsheet analysis. Maria often says that spreadsheets are her happy place. Maria also finds happiness in spending time with her dog, going on long motorcycle rides with her husband, baking, and quilting.
