Burt has served as secretary and chairman to the Arizona State Fire Code Committee, authored numerous code changes to the International Conference of Building Officials for the Uniform Fire Code and Uniform Building Code, and has served as a staff representative on the City of Tucson/Pima County Building Code Committee. Burt currently serves as Vice-Chairman to the City of Tucson/Pima County Fire Code Committee. Burt is also appointed as the Fire Protection Representative to the Town of Sahuarita Board of Appeals. As a result of this work, Burt has a complete & current understanding of the relevant codes and standards relating to fire protection at the local, state & national levels.

Chris has nearly two decades of experience in the design of water-based fire sprinkler systems for commercial and residential applications. His career spans 13 years working with a successful mechanical contracting company followed by a 12-year relationship with Kelly, Wright & Associates.
Experience at the contracting level included estimation, design and management of projects. He has installed systems in the field and has been responsible for installation-ready, pre-fabricated designs that necessitated intensive coordination and field verification efforts. This hands-on experience has enabled Chris to possess an understanding of field conditions and coordination responsibilities that are inherent to fire sprinkler system design.
Experience at the engineering level has included a wide range of design applications coordinated with client goals through the entire design process. Examples are wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as well as fire pump and water storage installations. Chris spent three years performing plans review and acting as a fire sprinkler codes consultant for the City of Prescott Fire Department.

Jesus has more than two decades of work experience in the mechanical engineering industry. His vast experience provides him with the tools needed to optimize systems to each project. Jesus' attention to detail and knowledge of mechanical design allows him to manage all types of projects. Jesus has an excellent knowledge base in the field of HVAC and is also proficient in plumbing designs and controls. He has extensive capabilities in the field of computer-aided drafting including 3-D and Revit. He is knowledgeable in a wide variety of mechanical engineering applications including energy modeling, cost estimating, ventilation calculations, equipment selection programs, and life cycle cost analyses. Jesus excels at ensuring the work he designs is coordinated and integrated with all the building systems. Jesus' attention to detail extends into site visits where he has a vast knowledge of installation practices and procedures.
Jesus's project experience also includes medical gas and process piping designs, commercial and industrial projects. In addition, he has design-build, CMAR, LEED, and fast-track project experience. Jesus maintains great personal dedication to each of his projects. His attention to detail and the client's needs is evident in his work.
