John F. Lyndon

John Lyndon received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia, in 1973. In 1976, he received his JD degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia, and was admitted to practice in June of that year. He has maintained a private practice in Athens since 1976, initially in general litigation but in the last ten years primarily in the areas of divorce and family law. He is a member of the Western Circuit Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia (Family Law Section), American Bar Association (Family Law Section), American Association for Justice (Family Law Section), and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. John has had a number of cases reported at the appellate court level in Georgia, including Ragland v. Ragland, 469 S.E.2d 658 (1996); Waggaman v. Franklin Life Ins. Co. 458 S.E.2d 826 (1995); and White v. White, 319 S.E.2d 447 (1984). John Lyndon began the practice of law in 1976 and entered solo practice shortly thereafter. He has an excellent reputation among judges and fellow attorneys for his competence, the quality of his work, and his high ethical standards.
