HASTINGS LABOUR LAW OFFICE - Key Persons
Brandon Quinn has practiced labour and administrative law in British Columbia since joining our firm as an associate in 2003. In that time, he has appeared on behalf of trade unions before several federal and provincial administrative tribunals including labour boards, human rights tribunals, and employment standards tribunals. He also represents trade unions in all levels of British Columbia courts, including Small Claims Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.
Brandon has been a partner in our firm since 2011.
Chris Buchanan has practiced labour law in British Columbia since 1995.
Chris has focused his entire legal career on working closely with unions to advance the interests of workers through strategic advice and, when necessary, litigation. His commitment to social justice, and in particular acting for workers, led him to go to law school.

Lifen joined HLLO as the office manager in 2014 and oversees the day to day operations of the firm. She comes to us with over 20 years of law firm experience. Prior to joining HLLO Lifen worked in the capacity of office manager for two other law firms of similar size. Her no nonsense can do approach has enabled her to integrate seamlessly with the firm.
Lifen has been a member and a staunch supporter of the British Columbia Legal Management Association (BCLMA) since 2006.
Outside the office, Lifen enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. Her favorite past times are traveling, yoga, golf and agility training with her dogs.

Pamela joined Hastings Labour Law Office LLP as a receptionist and legal assistant in August of 2015. Pamela graduated from Douglas College with her Legal Assistant Certificate. She is a passionate knitter who, in her spare time, enjoys travelling and hitting the slopes with her skis.
