Jon is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to the Western District of Michigan. He is also a member of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association. In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors and doing activities such as dirt biking, mountain biking, and hiking with his German shepherd.

Joe Vander Horst was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and has been a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo County. Joe joined Lewis, Reed & Allen, P.C. in 2019 and is a shareholder of the firm. Prior to joining Lewis, Reed & Allen, P.C., Joe spent 25 years in private practice. He opened and operated Vander Horst Law Office, P.C. for over 13 years. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Joe was a Vice President of family business, Chicken Coop Restaurants, where he managed over 140 employees. Joe is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Kalamazoo County Bar Association and Kalamazoo County Trial Lawyers.
